فَلَمَّا مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا ﴿٦١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!"

    They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."

  • وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ أَجْمَعِينَ

    And We saved Moses and those with him, all together.

  • فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَكَانُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْمُهْلَكِينَ

    So they denied them and were of those destroyed.

  • هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ

    Has there reached you the story of Moses? -

  • وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَلْقِ عَصَاكَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ

    And We inspired to Moses, "Throw your staff," and at once it devoured what they were falsifying.
