وَإِذَا مَآ إِلَىٰ هَلْ مِّنْ ثُمَّ بِأَنَّهُمْ لَّا ﴿١٢٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And whenever a surah is revealed, they look at each other, [saying], "Does anyone see you?" and then they dismiss themselves. Allah has dismissed their hearts because they are a people who do not understand.

شدت ناراحتی منافقان از نزول آیات الهی

این آیه به یکی دیگر از صفات منافقان اشاره دارد؛ هنگامی که یکی از سوره‌های قرآن نازل می‌شد و آنها هم حاضر بودند و می‌شنیدندء به یکدیگر نگاه می‌کردند و منظورشان از آن نگاه این بود که آیا کسی شما را می‌بیند؛ حالت کسی که مطلبی را بشنود که طاقت شنیدنش را نداشته باشد و نتواند قیافة خودش را از ناراحتی حفظ کند و از شدت پریشانی رنگش هم عوض شود و بترسد که دیگران از قیافةٌ او به راز درونش پی ببرند. به همین جهت؛ از کسی که از اضطراب آنها خبر داشتء می‌پرسیدند: یا کسی از اطرافیان از وضع ما خبردار شده یا نه؟ سپس در حالی که خدا دل‌هایشان را از فرا گرفتن آیات الهی و ایمان به آن برگردانده بود از نزد پیامبر باز می‌گشتند.

    And when they see you, [O Muhammad], they take you not except in ridicule, [saying], "Is this the one whom Allah has sent as a messenger?

  • وَإِذَا جَآءُوكُمْ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَقَد دَّخَلُوا۟ بِٱلْكُفْرِ وَهُمْ قَدْ خَرَجُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْتُمُونَ

    And when they come to you, they say, "We believe." But they have entered with disbelief [in their hearts], and they have certainly left with it. And Allah is most knowing of what…

  • وَجَعَلْنَا عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ أَكِنَّةً أَن يَفْقَهُوهُ وَفِىٓ ءَاذَانِهِمْ وَقْرًا وَإِذَا ذَكَرْتَ رَبَّكَ فِى ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَحْدَهُۥ وَلَّوْا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَٰرِهِمْ نُفُورًا

    And We have placed over their hearts coverings, lest they understand it, and in their ears deafness. And when you mention your Lord alone in the Qur'an, they turn back in aversion.
