17

مَا أَن عَلَىٰٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ وَفِى هُمْ ﴿١٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

It is not for the polytheists to maintain the mosques of Allah [while] witnessing against themselves with disbelief. [For] those, their deeds have become worthless, and in the Fire they will abide eternally.

مشرکان» حق عمران مساجد را ندارند

از جمله اشکالاتی که بعد از لغو پیمان مشرکان و دستور به جهاد با آنان ممکن بود در نظر بعضی مطرح گرددء این بود که چرا ما این گروه عظیم را از خود برانیم و اجازه ندهیم به مسجدالحرام برای مراسم حج قدم بگذارند؛ در حالی که شرکت آنان در این مراسم از هر نظر مایة آبادی است؛ هم آبادی بنای مسجدالحرام از طریق کمک‌های مهمی که آنها به این کار می‌کردند و هم آبادی معنوی از نظر افزایش جمعیت در اطراف خانةٌ خدا. این آیه و چند یه بعدء به این‌گونه افکار واهی و بی‌اساس پاسخ می‌گوید و می‌فرماید که نه کوشش‌های مشرکان برای عمران و آبادی مسجدالحرام یا مانند آن ارزشی دارد نه انبوه اجتماعشان در اطراف خانةٌ کعبه. خداوند پاک و منزه است و خانة او نیز باید پاک و پاکیزه باشد و دست‌های افراد آلوده و ناپاک از خانةٌ خدا و مساجد باید به کلی قطع گردد.!
