The birth pangs brought her to the trunk of a date palm. She said, ‘I wish I had died before this and become a forgotten thing, beyond recall.’

And the pangs of childbirth drove her unto the trunk of the palm-tree. She said: Oh, would that I had died ere this and had become a thing of naught, forgotten!

And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"

And the birthpangs surprised her by the trunk of the palm-tree. She said, 'Would I had died ere this, and become a thing forgotten!'

آن گاه درد زاییدن، او را به ناچار به جانب درخت خرما کشانید؛ [در آن حال] گفت: ای کاش پیش از این میمردم و یکسره از خاطره ها فراموش شده بودم.

تا درد زایمان، او را به سوی تنه درخت خرمایی کشانید. گفت: «ای کاش، پیش از این مرده بودم و یکسر فراموش‌شده بودم.»

پھر وضع حمل کا وقت انہیں ایک کھجور کی شاخ کے قریب لے آیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ اے کاش میں اس سے پہلے ہی مر گئی ہوتی اور بالکل فراموش کردینے کے قابل ہوگئی ہوتی

প্রসব বেদনা তাঁকে এক খেজুর বৃক্ষ-মূলে আশ্রয় নিতে বাধ্য করল। তিনি বললেনঃ হায়, আমি যদি কোনরূপে এর পূর্বে মরে যেতাম এবং মানুষের স্মৃতি থেকে বিলুপ্ত হয়ে, যেতাম!
