And if We willed, We could have deformed them, [paralyzing them] in their places so they would not be able to proceed, nor could they return.

And had We wished We would have deformed them in their place; then they would neither have been able to move ahead nor to return.

And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back.

And if it had been Our Will, We could have transformed them (to remain) in their places; then should they have been unable to move about, nor could they have returned (after error).

Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return.

و [نیز] اگر بخواهیم آنان را در جای خودشان مسخ می کنیم، [و به صورت جمادی خشک درمی آوریم] که نه بتوانند بروند و نه بازگردند،

و اگر بخواهیم، هرآینه ایشان را در جای خود مسخ می‌کنیم [به گونه‌ای‌] که نه بتوانند بروند و نه برگردند.

Dilesek, onları oldukları yerde dondururduk da, ne ileri gidebilirler ve ne de geri dönebilirlerdi.

Dan jikalau Kami menghendaki pastilah Kami ubah mereka di tempat mereka berada; maka mereka tidak sanggup berjalan lagi dan tidak (pula) sanggup kembali.

اور ہم چاہیں تو خود ان ہی کو بالکل مسخ کردیں جس کے بعد نہ آگے قدم بڑھاسکیں اور نہ پیچھے ہی پلٹ کر واپس آسکیں

আমি ইচ্ছা করলে তাদেরকে স্ব স্ব স্থানে আকার বিকৃত করতে পারতাম, ফলে তারা আগেও চলতে পারত না এবং পেছনেও ফিরে যেতে পারত না।
