Kill Joseph or cast him out to [another] land; the countenance of your father will [then] be only for you, and you will be after that a righteous people."

‘Kill Joseph or cast him away into some [distant] land, so that your father’s attention may be exclusively towards you, and thereafter you may become a righteous lot.’

(One said): Kill Joseph or cast him to some (other) land, so that your father's favour may be all for you, and (that) ye may afterward be righteous folk.

"Slay ye Joseph or cast him out to some (unknown) land, that so the favour of your father may be given to you alone: (there will be time enough) for you to be righteous after that!"

Kill you Joseph, or cast him forth into some land, that your father's face may be free for you, and thereafter you may be a righteous people.'

[یکی گفت:] یوسف را بکشید و یا او را در سرزمین نامعلومی بیندازید، تا توجه و محبت پدرتان فقط معطوف به شما شود. و پس از این گناه [با بازگشت به خدا و عذرخواهی از پدر] مردمی شایسته خواهید شد.

[یکی گفت:] «یوسف را بکُشید یا او را به سرزمینی بیندازید، تا توجّه پدرتان معطوف شما گردد، و پس از او مردمی شایسته باشید.»

"Yusuf'u öldürün veya onu ıssız bir yere bırakıverin ki babanız size kalsın; ondan sonra da iyi kimseler olursunuz"

Bunuhlah Yusuf atau buanglah dia kesuatu daerah (yang tak dikenal) supaya perhatian ayahmu tertumpah kepadamu saja, dan sesudah itu hendaklah kamu menjadi orang-orang yang baik".

تم لوگ یوسف کو قتل کردو یا کسی زمین میں پھینک دو تو باپ کا رخ تمہاری ہی طرف ہوجائے گا اور تم سب ان کے بعد صالح قوم بن جاؤ گے

হত্যা কর ইউসুফকে কিংবা ফেলে আস তাকে অন্য কোন স্থানে। এতে শুধু তোমাদের প্রতিই তোমাদের পিতার মনোযোগ নিবিষ্ট হবে এবং এরপর তোমরা যোগ্য বিবেচিত হয়ে থাকবে।
