إِذْ لَيُوسُفُ إِلَىٰٓ مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ إِنَّ لَفِى ﴿٨﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error.

یوسف و برادرش نزد پدر از ما محبوب‌ترند

در اینجا سوّال می‌شود که علت فزونی مهر یعقوب به این دو کودک چه بوده است. در پاسخ می‌توان به دو عامل اشاره کرد: ۱- عامل فطری و طبیعی؛ زیرا هر انسانی» کودک کوچک خود را که ضعیف و ناتوان است» به خاطر کوچک بودن و ناتوانی» بیش از بزرگسالان دوست دارد. ۲- یعقوب در چهره و سیمای یوسف» عظمت بیشتری احساس می‌کرد و می‌دانست که او قابلیت بیشتر و آینده‌ای درخشان دارد. درس مهم دیگری که از این داستان می‌آموزیم» این است که چگونه حسد می‌تواند آدمی را تا سرحد کشتن برادر یا ایجاد دردسرهای خیلی شدید برای او پیش ببرد و اکر این اتش درونی مهار نشود، چگونه هم دیگران را به آتش می‌کشد و هم خود انسان را. آری» حسدهء تنها برادران یوسف را تا سرحد کشتن برادر پیش نبردء بلکه گاه می‌شود که انسان را به نابودی خویش نیز وا می‌دارد. در روایتی از پیامبر اسلام(ص) می‌خوانیم: «خداوند موسی بن عمران(ع) را از حسد نهی کرد و فرمود: شخص حسود. نسبت به نعمت‌های من بر بندگان خشمناک است و از قسمت‌هایی که میان بندگانم قائُل شده‌ام» ممانعت می‌کند. هر کس چنین باشد نه من از اویم و نه او از من است.» از امام صادق(ع) می‌خوانیم: «آفت دین سه چیز است: حسد. خودپسندی و فخرفروشی.»

  • وَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ ءَاوَىٰٓ إِلَيْهِ أَخَاهُ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَنَا۠ أَخُوكَ فَلَا تَبْتَئِسْ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ

    And when they entered upon Joseph, he took his brother to himself; he said, "Indeed, I am your brother, so do not despair over what they used to do [to me]."

  • فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيهِمْ قَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا ٱلْكَيْلُ فَأَرْسِلْ مَعَنَآ أَخَانَا نَكْتَلْ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

    So when they returned to their father, they said, "O our father, [further] measure has been denied to us, so send with us our brother [that] we will be given measure. And indeed…

  • وَلَمَّا فَصَلَتِ ٱلْعِيرُ قَالَ أَبُوهُمْ إِنِّى لَأَجِدُ رِيحَ يُوسُفَ لَوْلَآ أَن تُفَنِّدُونِ

    And when the caravan departed [from Egypt], their father said, "Indeed, I find the smell of Joseph [and would say that he was alive] if you did not think me weakened in mind."
