Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are [still] your brothers in religion and those entrusted to you. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

Call them after their fathers. That is more just with Allah. If you do not know their fathers, then they are your brethren in the faith and your kinsmen. Excepting what your hearts may intend deliberately, there will be no sin upon you for any mistake that you may make therein. And Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

Proclaim their real parentage. That will be more equitable in the sight of Allah. And if ye know not their fathers, then (they are) your brethren in the faith, and your clients. And there is no sin for you in the mistakes that ye make unintentionally, but what your hearts purpose (that will be a sin for you). Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.

Call them by (the names of) their fathers: that is juster in the sight of Allah. But if ye know not their father's (names, call them) your Brothers in faith, or your maulas. But there is no blame on you if ye make a mistake therein: (what counts is) the intention of your hearts: and Allah is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

Call them after their true fathers; that is more equitable in the sight of God. If you know not who their fathers were, then they are your brothers in religion, and your clients. There is no fault in you if you make mistakes, but only in what your hearts premeditate. God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.

پسر خواندگانتان را به نام پدرانشان بخوانید که این نزد خدا عادلانه تر است؛ و اگر پدرانشان را نمی شناسید، پس برادران و دوستان دینی شمایند. و بر شما در آنچه [از انتساب هایی] که به خطا انجام داده اید، گناهی نیست؛ ولی آنچه را که دل هایتان تعمد و قصد جدی داشته است [گناه است]؛ و خدا همواره بسیار آمرزنده و مهربان است.

آنان را به [نام‌] پدرانشان بخوانید، که این نزد خدا عادلانه‌تر است، و اگر پدرانشان را نمی‌شناسید پس برادران دینی و موالی شمایند، و در آنچه اشتباهاً مرتکب آن شده‌اید بر شما گناهی نیست، ولی در آنچه دلهایتان عمد داشته است [مسؤولید ]و خداست که همواره آمرزنده مهربان است.

Evlatlıkları babalarına nisbet edin, bu Allah katında en doğru olandır. Eğer babalarının kim olduğunu bilmiyorsanız, bu takdirde onları din kardeşi ve dostlarınız olarak kabul edin. İçinizden kasdederek yaptıklarınız bir yana, yanılmalarınızda size bir sorumluluk yoktur. Allah, bağışlar ve merhamet eder.

Panggilah mereka (anak-anak angkat itu) dengan (memakai) nama bapak-bapak mereka; itulah yang lebih adil pada sisi Allah, dan jika kamu tidak mengetahui bapak-bapak mereka, maka (panggilah mereka sebagai) saudara-saudaramu seagama dan maula-maulamu. Dan tidak ada dosa atasmu terhadap apa yang kamu khilaf padanya, tetapi (yang ada dosanya) apa yang disengaja oleh hatimu. Dan adalah Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyayang.

ان بچوں کو ان کے باپ کے نام سے پکارو کہ یہی خدا کی نظر میں انصاف سے قریب تر ہے اور اگر ان کے باپ کو نہیں جانتے ہو تو یہ دین میں تمہارے بھائی اور دوست ہیں اور تمہارے لئے اس بات میں کوئی حرج نہیں ہے جو تم سے غلطی ہوگئی ہے البتہ تم اس بات کے ضرور ذمہ دار ہو جو تمہارے دلوں سے قصداانجام دی ہے اور اللہ بہت بخشنے والا اور مہربان ہے

তোমরা তাদেরকে তাদের পিতৃপরিচয়ে ডাক। এটাই আল্লাহর কাছে ন্যায়সঙ্গত। যদি তোমরা তাদের পিতৃ-পরিচয় না জান, তবে তারা তোমাদের ধর্মীয় ভাই ও বন্ধুরূপে গণ্য হবে। এ ব্যাপারে তোমাদের কোন বিচ্যুতি হলে তাতে তোমাদের কোন গোনাহ নেই, তবে ইচ্ছাকৃত হলে ভিন্ন কথা। আল্লাহ ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু।
