وَإِذْ بِكُمُ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنتُمْ ﴿٥٠﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And [recall] when We parted the sea for you and saved you and drowned the people of Pharaoh while you were looking on.

    And We saved Moses and those with him, all together.

  • إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ

    Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship

  • فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ

    So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,

  • فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَكِبَا فِى ٱلسَّفِينَةِ خَرَقَهَا قَالَ أَخَرَقْتَهَا لِتُغْرِقَ أَهْلَهَا لَقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْـًٔا إِمْرًا
