فرار از حق مثل گورخران از شیر

معروف است که گورخر وحشت عجیبی از شیر دارد. حتی موقعی که صدای شیر را می‌شنود» چنان وحشتی بر او چیره می‌شود که دیوانه‌وار به هر سو می‌دود؛ به ویژه هنگامی که شیر به گروهی از آنها برسدء چنان پراکنده می‌شوند و به هر سو می‌دوند که هر بیننده‌ای غرق تعجب می‌شود. اصولا این حیوان به حکم وحشی بودن» از همه چیز وحشت دارد؛ تا چه رسد به دشمن خونخوارش شیر! این آیه» تعبیری بسیار رسا و گویا از وحشت و فرار مشرکان از آیات روح‌پرور قرأن است و آنها را به گورخر تشبیه کرده که هم بدون عقل و شعور است و هم به علت وحشی بودن» از همه چیز گریزان؛ در حالی که در برابر آنها چیزی جز پند و تذکر قرار ندارد.

  • لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ

    [So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,

  • وَكَانُوا۟ يَنْحِتُونَ مِنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ بُيُوتًا ءَامِنِينَ

    And they used to carve from the mountains, houses, feeling secure.

  • فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُم مِّن فَضْلِهِۦ بَخِلُوا۟ بِهِۦ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ وَّهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ

    But when he gave them from His bounty, they were stingy with it and turned away while they refused.
