چه کسی آب جاری در اختیار شما قرار می‌دهد؟

می‌دانیم که زمین از دو قشر تشکیل شده: قشر نفوذپذیر که آب را در خود فرو می‌برد و قشر نفوذناپذیر در زیر آن که آب را در آنجا نگه می‌دارد. تمام چشمه‌هاء چاه‌ها و قنات‌هاء از برکت این ترکیب خاص به وجود آمده است. اگر تمام روی زمین» تا اعماق زیاده قشر نفوذپذیر بوده آب‌ها چنان در زمین فرو می‌رفتند که هرگز دست کسی به دامانشان نمی‌رسید و اگر همه نفوذناپذیر بوده آب‌ها روی زمین می‌ایستادند و به یک باتلاق تبدیل می‌شدند یا به دریاها می‌ریختند و به این ترتیب» تمام ذخایر زیرزمینی آب از دست می‌رفت. این» نمونةٌ کوچکی از رحمت گستردةٌ خداوند به همه موجودات است که مرگ و حیات انسان» سخت با آن گره خورده است. در روایاتی از ائْمةُ اهل بیت(ع)» این آیه به ظهور حضرت مهدی(ع) و عدل جهانی او تفسیر شده است. در حدیی از امام باقر(ع) در تفسیر این آیه می‌خوانیم: «این آیه در بارةٌ امامی نازل شده که [به عدل الهی] قیام می‌کند. (حضرت مهدی(عج)) می‌گوید: اگر امام شما پنهان گردد. شما نمی‌دانید کجاست؟ چه کسی برای شما امامی می‌فرستد که اخبار آسمان و زمین و حلال و حرام خدا را برای شما شرح دهد.» سپس فرمود: «به خدا سوگند. تأویل این آیه فرا نرسیده و سرانجام خواهد آمد.» روایات در این زمینه فراوان است و باید توجه داشت که همه از باب تطبیق است. به تعبیر دیگرء ظاهر این آیه مربوط به آب جاری است که مایةٌ حیات موجودات زنده است و باطن آّیه مربوط به وجود امام و علم و عدالت جهانی اوست که آن نیز مایة حیات جامعهٌ انسانی است.
