And they request from you, [O Muhammad], a [legal] ruling concerning women. Say, "Allah gives you a ruling about them and [about] what has been recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan girls to whom you do not give what is decreed for them - and [yet] you desire to marry them - and concerning the oppressed among children and that you maintain for orphans [their rights] in justice." And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is ever Knowing of it.

They seek your ruling concerning women. Say, ‘Allah gives you a ruling concerning them and what is announced to you in the Book concerning girl orphans—whom you do not give what has been prescribed for them, and yet you desire to marry them—and about the weak among children: that you should maintain the orphans with justice, and whatever good you do, indeed Allah knows it well.

They consult thee concerning women. Say: Allah giveth you decree concerning them, and the Scripture which hath been recited unto you (giveth decree), concerning female orphans and those unto whom ye give not that which is ordained for them though ye desire to marry them, and (concerning) the weak among children, and that ye should deal justly with orphans. Whatever good ye do, lo! Allah is ever Aware of it.

They ask thy instruction concerning the women say: Allah doth instruct you about them: And (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed, and yet whom ye desire to marry, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed: that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith.

They will ask thee for a pronouncement concerning women. Say: 'God pronounces to you concerning them, and what is recited to you in the Book concerning the orphan women to whom you give not what is prescribed for them, and yet desire to marry them, and the oppressed children, and that you secure justice for orphans. Whatever good you do, God knows of it.'

درباره [حقوق ازدواج و نیز ارث] زنان از تو فتوا می خواهند. بگو: فقط خدا درباره آنان [مطابق با آیاتی که در اوایل همین سوره گذشت] به شما فتوا می دهد، و درباره دختران یتیمی که حقوق لازم و مقرّر آنان را نمی پردازید، و [به قصد خوردن اموالشان] میلی به ازدواج با آنان دارید، برابر احکامی که در این کتاب بر شما خوانده می شود به شما فتوا می دهد. و [نیز درباره] کودکان مستضعف [ی که حقوق مالی و انسانی آنان را پایمال می کنید، مطابق احکامی که در قرآن بر شما تلاوت می شود به شما فتوا می دهد]. و [نیز سفارش می کند] که با یتیمان به عدالت رفتار کنید؛ و آنچه را [درباره زنان، دختران یتیم و کودکان مستضعف] از هر خیری انجام می دهید، یقیناً خدا همواره به آن داناست.

و در باره زنان، رأی تو را می‌پرسند. بگو: «خدا در باره آنان به شما فتوا می‌دهد، و [نیز] در باره آنچه در قرآن بر شما تلاوت می‌شود: در مورد زنان یتیمی که حق مقرر آنان را به ایشان نمی‌دهید و تمایل به ازدواج با آنان دارید، و [در باره‌] کودکان ناتوان و اینکه با یتیمان [چگونه‌] به داد رفتار کنید [پاسخگر شماست‌].» و هر کار نیکی انجام دهید، قطعاً خدا به آن داناست.

Kadınlar hakkında senden fetva isterler, de ki: "Onlar hakkında fetvayı size Allah veriyor: "Bu fetva, kendilerine yazılan şeyi vermeyip kendileriyle evlenmeyi arzuladığınız yetim kadınlara ve bir de zavallı çocuklara ve yetimlere doğrulukla bakmanız hususunda Kitap'da size okunandır". Ne iyilik yaparsaniz Allah onu şüphesiz bilir.

Dan mereka minta fatwa kepadamu tentang para wanita. Katakanlah: "Allah memberi fatwa kepadamu tentang mereka, dan apa yang dibacakan kepadamu dalam Al Quran (juga memfatwakan) tentang para wanita yatim yang kamu tidak memberikan kepada mereka apa yang ditetapkan untuk mereka, sedang kamu ingin mengawini mereka dan tentang anak-anak yang masih dipandang lemah. Dan (Allah menyuruh kamu) supaya kamu mengurus anak-anak yatim secara adil. Dan kebajikan apa saja yang kamu kerjakan, maka sesungguhnya Allah adalah Maha Mengetahuinya.

پیغمبر یہ لوگ آپ سے یتیم لڑکیوں کے بارے میں حکهِ خدا دریافت کرتے ہیں تو آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ ان کے بارے میں خدا اجازت دیتا ہے اور جو کتاب میں تمہارے سامنے حکم بیان کیا جاتا ہے وہ ان یتیم عورتوں کے بارے میں ہے جن کو تم ان کا حق میراث نہیں دیتے ہو اور چاہتے ہو کہ ان سے نکاح کرکے سارا مال روک لو اور ان کمزور بّچوں کے بارے میں ہے کہ یتیموں کے بارے میں انصاف کے ساتھ قیام کرو اور جو بھی تم کا»خیر کرو گے خدا اس کا بخوبی جاننے والا ہے

তারা আপনার কাছে নারীদের বিবাহের অনুমতি চায়। বলে দিনঃ আল্লাহ তোমাদেরকে তাদের সম্পর্কে অনুমতি দেন এবং কোরআনে তোমাদেরকে যা যা পাট করে শুনানো হয়, তা ঐ সব পিতৃহীনা-নারীদের বিধান, যাদের কে তোমরা নির্ধারিত অধিকার প্রদান কর না অথচ বিবাহ বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ করার বাসনা রাখ। আর অক্ষম শিশুদের বিধান এই যে, এতীমদের জন্যে ইনসাফের উপর কায়েম থাক। তোমরা যা ভাল কাজ করবে, তা আল্লাহ জানেন।
