And if they had intended to go forth, they would have prepared for it [some] preparation. But Allah disliked their being sent, so He kept them back, and they were told, "Remain [behind] with those who remain."

Had they desired to go forth, they would have surely made some preparations for it; but Allah was averse to arouse them, so He held them back, and it was said [to them], ‘Be seated with those who sit back.’

And if they had wished to go forth they would assuredly have made ready some equipment, but Allah was averse to their being sent forth and held them back and it was said (unto them): Sit ye with the sedentary!

If they had intended to come out, they would certainly have made some preparation therefor; but Allah was averse to their being sent forth; so He made them lag behind, and they were told, "Sit ye among those who sit (inactive)."

If they had desired to go forth, they would have made some preparation for it; but God was averse that they should be aroused, so He made them pause, and it was said to them, 'Tarry you with the tarriers.'

و اگر برای بیرون رفتن [به سوی میدان نبرد] تصمیم جدّی داشتند، مسلماً برای آن ساز و برگ آماده می کردند، ولی خدا [به سبب سستی اراده و نفاقشان] برانگیختن آنان را [به سوی میدان نبرد] خوش نداشت، پس آنان را از حرکت بازداشت، و [انگار به آنان] گفته شد: با نشستگان [در خانه ها که به علتی معذور از جنگند] بنشینید.

و اگر [به راستی‌] اراده بیرون رفتن داشتند، قطعاً برای آن ساز و برگی تدارک می‌دیدند، ولی خداوند راه‌افتادن آنان را خوش نداشت، پس ایشان را منصرف گردانید و [به آنان‌] گفته شد: «با ماندگان بمانید.»

Eğer savaşa çıkmak isteselerdi bir hazırlık yaparlardı. Ama Allah davranışlarını beğenmedi de onları alıkoydu. "Acizlerle beraber oturun" denildi.

Dan jika mereka mau berangkat, tentulah mereka menyiapkan persiapan untuk keberangkatan itu, tetapi Allah tidak menyukai keberangkatan mereka, maka Allah melemahkan keinginan mereka. dan dikatakan kepada mereka: "Tinggallah kamu bersama orang-orang yang tinggal itu".

আর যদি তারা বের হবার সংকল্প নিত, তবে অবশ্যই কিছু সরঞ্জাম প্রস্তুত করতো। কিন্তু তাদের উত্থান আল্লাহর পছন্দ নয়, তাই তাদের নিবৃত রাখলেন এবং আদেশ হল বসা লোকদের সাথে তোমরা বসে থাক।
