إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا﴿١﴾
When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking
وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا﴿٢﴾
and earth brings forth her burdens,
وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا﴿٣﴾
and Man says., 'What ails her?'
يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا﴿٤﴾
upon that day she shall tell her tidings
بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا﴿٥﴾
for that her Lord has inspired her.
يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ﴿٦﴾
Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works,
فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ﴿٧﴾
and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it,
وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ﴿٨﴾
and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it.
