[Mention] when he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all?

کسی که ابراهیم(ع) در این آیات او را پدر صدا می‌زند و طبق أَیةٌ ۷۴ سورة انعام» «آزر» نام داشتهء پدر حقیقی او نبوده است؛ بلکه عمو یا پدربزرگ مادری وی یا شوهر مادرش بوده که بعد از درگذشت پدر ابراهیم با او ازدواج کرده بود (برای اطلاع بیشتر به توضیح آیة ۷۴ سورةٌ انعام مراجعه فرمایید).

    And He found you lost and guided [you],
