[Mention] when he said to his father, "O my father, why do you worship that which does not hear and does not see and will not benefit you at all?

When he said to his father, ‘Father! Why do you worship that which neither hears nor sees, and is of no avail to you in any way?

When he said unto his father: O my father! Why worshippest thou that which heareth not nor seeth, nor can in aught avail thee?

Behold, he said to his father: "O my father! why worship that which heareth not and seeth not, and can profit thee nothing?

When he said to his father, 'Father, why worshippest thou that which neither hears nor sees, nor avails thee anything?

آن گاه که به پدر [خوانده] اَش گفت: پدرم! چرا چیزی را که نمی شنود و نمی بیند و نمی تواند هیچ آسیب و گزندی را از تو برطرف کند، می پرستی!؟

چون به پدرش گفت: «پدر جان، چرا چیزی را که نمی‌شنود و نمی‌بیند و از تو چیزی را دور نمی‌کند می‌پرستی؟

Babasına şöyle demişti: "Babacığım! İşitmeyen, görmeyen ve sana bir faydası olmayan şeylere niçin tapıyorsun?"

Ingatlah ketika ia berkata kepada bapaknya; "Wahai bapakku, mengapa kamu menyembah sesuatu yang tidak mendengar, tidak melihat dan tidak dapat menolong kamu sedikitpun?

جب انہوں نے اپنے پالنے والے باپ سے کہا کہ آپ ایسے کی عبادت کیوں کرتے ہیں جو نہ کچھ سنتا ہے نہ دیکھتا ہے اور نہ کسی کام آنے والا ہے

যখন তিনি তার পিতাকে বললেনঃ হে আমার পিতা, যে শোনে না, দেখে না এবং তোমার কোন উপকারে আসে না, তার এবাদত কেন কর?
