وَلَا إِلَىٰ مَا بِهِۦٓ مِّنْهُمْ فِيهِ ﴿١٣١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [some] categories of them, [its being but] the splendor of worldly life by which We test them. And the provision of your Lord is better and more enduring.

    To each [category] We extend - to these and to those - from the gift of your Lord. And never has the gift of your Lord been restricted.

  • عَسَىٰ رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا رَٰغِبُونَ

    Perhaps our Lord will substitute for us [one] better than it. Indeed, we are toward our Lord desirous."

  • فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ

    So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?

  • إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ مَفَازًا

    Indeed, for the righteous is attainment -

  • وَزُخْرُفًا وَإِن كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَٰعُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةُ عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ

    And gold ornament. But all that is not but the enjoyment of worldly life. And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous.
