[Joseph] said, "It was she who sought to seduce me." And a witness from her family testified. "If his shirt is torn from the front, then she has told the truth, and he is of the liars.

He said, ‘It was she who solicited me.’ A witness of her own household testified [thus]: ‘If his shirt is torn from the front, she tells the truth and he lies.

(Joseph) said: She it was who asked of me an evil act. And a witness of her own folk testified: If his shirt is torn from before, then she speaketh truth and he is of the liars.

He said: "It was she that sought to seduce me - from my (true) self." And one of her household saw (this) and bore witness, (thus):- "If it be that his shirt is rent from the front, then is her tale true, and he is a liar!

Said he, 'It was she that solicited me'; and a witness of her folk bore witness, 'If his shirt has been torn from before then she has spoken truly, and he is one of the liars;

یوسف گفت: او از من خواستار کام جویی شد. و گواهی از خاندان بانو چنین داوری کرد: اگر پیراهن یوسف از جلو پاره شده، بانو راست می گوید و یوسف دروغگوست.

[یوسف‌] گفت: «او از من کام خواست.» و شاهدی از خانواده آن زن شهادت داد: «اگر پیراهن او از جلو چاک خورده، زن راست گفته و او از دروغگویان است،

Yusuf: "Beni kendine o çağırdı" dedi. Kadın tarafından bir şahit, "Eğer gömleği önden yırtılmışsa kadın doğru söylemiş, erkek yalancılardandır; şayet gömleği arkadan yırtılmışsa kadın yalan söylemiştir, erkek doğrulardandır" diye şahidlik etti.

Yusuf berkata: "Dia menggodaku untuk menundukkan diriku (kepadanya)", dan seorang saksi dari keluarga wanita itu memberikan kesaksiannya: "Jika baju gamisnya koyak di muka, maka wanita itu benar dan Yusuf termasuk orang-orang yang dusta.

یوسف نے کہا کہ اس نے خود مجھ سے اظہار محبت ّکیا ہے اور اس پر اس کے گھر والوں میں سے ایک گواہ نے گواہی بھی دے دی کہ اگر ان کا دامن سامنے سے پھٹا ہے تو وہ سچی ہے اور یہ جھوٹوں میں سے ہیں

ইউসুফ (আঃ) বললেন, সেই আমাকে আত্মসংবরণ না করতে ফুসলিয়েছে। মহিলার পরিবারে জনৈক সাক্ষী দিল যে, যদি তার জামা সামনের দিক থেকে ছিন্ন থাকে, তবে মহিলা সত্যবাদিনী এবং সে মিথ্যাবাদি।
