And they both raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back, and they found her husband at the door. She said, "What is the recompense of one who intended evil for your wife but that he be imprisoned or a painful punishment?"

They raced to the door, and she tore his shirt from behind, and they ran into her husband at the door. She said, ‘What is to be the requital of him who has evil intentions for your wife except imprisonment or a painful punishment?’

And they raced with one another to the door, and she tore his shirt from behind, and they met her lord and master at the door. She said: What shall be his reward, who wisheth evil to thy folk, save prison or a painful doom?

So they both raced each other to the door, and she tore his shirt from the back: they both found her lord near the door. She said: "What is the (fitting) punishment for one who formed an evil design against thy wife, but prison or a grievous chastisement?"

They raced to the door; and she tore his shirt from behind. They encountered her master by the door. She said, 'What is the recompense of him who purposes evil against thy folk, but that he should be imprisoned, or a painful chastisement?'

و هر دو به سوی در کاخ پیشی گرفتند، و بانو پیراهن یوسف را از پشت پاره کرد و [در آن حال] در کنار [آستانه] در به شوهر وی برخوردند؛ بانو به شوهرش گفت: کسی که نسبت به خانواده ات قصد بدی داشته باشد، کیفرش جز زندان یا شکنجه دردناک [چه خواهد بود؟!]

و آن دو به سوی در بر یکدیگر سبقت گرفتند، و [آن زن‌] پیراهن او را از پشت بدرید و در آستانه در آقای آن زن را یافتند. آن گفت: «کیفر کسی که قصد بد به خانواده تو کرده چیست؟ جز اینکه زندانی یا [دچار] عذابی دردناک شود.»

İkisi de kapıya koştu, kadın arkadan Yusuf'un gömleğini yırttı; kapının önünde kocasına rastladılar. Kadın kocasına "Ailene fenalık etmek isteyen bir kimsenin cezası ya hapis ya da can yakıcı bir azab olmalıdır" dedi.

Dan keduanya berlomba-lomba menuju pintu dan wanita itu menarik baju gamis Yusuf dari belakang hingga koyak dan kedua-duanya mendapati suami wanita itu di muka pintu. Wanita itu berkata: "Apakah pembalasan terhadap orang yang bermaksud berbuat serong dengan isterimu, selain dipenjarakan atau (dihukum) dengan azab yang pedih?"

اور دونوں نے دروازے کی طرف سبقت کی اور اس نے ان کا کرتا پیچھے سے پھاڑ دیا اور دونوں نے اس کے سردار کو دروازہ ہی پر دیکھ لیا -اس نے گھبرا کر فریاد کی کہ جو تمہاری عورت کے ساتھ برائی کا ارادہ کرے اس کی سزا اس کے علاوہ کیا ہے کہ اسے قیدی بنادیاجائے یا اس پر دردناک عذاب کیا جائے

তারা উভয়ে ছুটে দরজার দিকে গেল এবং মহিলা ইউসুফের জামা পিছন দিক থেকে ছিঁড়ে ফেলল। উভয়ে মহিলার স্বামীকে দরজার কাছে পেল। মহিলা বললঃ যে ব্যক্তি তোমার পরিজনের সাথে কুকর্মের ইচ্ছা করে, তাকে কারাগারে পাঠানো অথবা অন্য কোন যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি দেয়া ছাড়া তার আর কি শাস্তি হতে পারে?
