And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] We extend their time [of enjoyment] it is better for them. We only extend it for them so that they may increase in sin, and for them is a humiliating punishment.

Let the faithless not suppose that the respite that We grant them is good for their souls: We give them respite only that they may increase in sin, and there is a humiliating punishment for them.

And let not those who disbelieve imagine that the rein We give them bodeth good unto their souls. We only give them rein that they may grow in sinfulness. And theirs will be a shameful doom.

Let not the Unbelievers think that our respite to them is good for themselves: We grant them respite that they may grow in their iniquity: But they will have a shameful punishment.

And let not the unbelievers suppose that the indulgence We grant them is better for them; We grant them indulgence only that they may increase in sin; and there awaits them a humbling chastisement.

و کسانی که کافر شدند، گمان نکنند مهلتی که به آنان می دهیم به سودشان خواهد بود، جز این نیست که مهلتشان می دهیم تا بر گناه خود بیفزایند، و برای آنان عذابی خوار کننده است.

و البته نباید کسانی که کافر شده‌اند تصور کنند اینکه به ایشان مهلت می‌دهیم برای آنان نیکوست؛ ما فقط به ایشان مهلت می‌دهیم تا بر گناه [خود] بیفزایند، و [آنگاه‌] عذابی خفت‌آور خواهند داشت.

İnkar edenler, kendilerine vermiş olduğumuz mühletin sakın kendileri için hayırlı olduğunu sanmasınlar. Biz onlara ancak, günahları çoğalsın diye mühlet veriyoruz. Küçültücü azab onlaradır.

Dan janganlah sekali-kali orang-orang kafir menyangka, bahwa pemberian tangguh Kami kepada mereka adalah lebih baik bagi mereka. Sesungguhnya Kami memberi tangguh kepada mereka hanyalah supaya bertambah-tambah dosa mereka; dan bagi mereka azab yang menghinakan.

اور خبردار یہ کفاّر یہ نہ سمجھیں کہ ہم جس قدر راحت و آرام دے رہے ہیں وہ ان کے حق میں کوئی بھلائی ہے- ہم تو صرف اس لئے دے رہے ہیں کہ جتنا گناہ کرسکیں کرلیں ورنہ ان کے لئے رسوا کن عذاب ہے

কাফেররা যেন মনে না করে যে আমি যে, অবকাশ দান করি, তা তাদের পক্ষে কল্যাণকর। আমি তো তাদেরকে অবকাশ দেই যাতে করে তারা পাপে উন্নতি লাভ করতে পারে। বস্তুতঃ তাদের জন্য রয়েছে লাঞ্ছনাজনক শাস্তি।
