And already were [other] messengers ridiculed before you, and I extended the time of those who disbelieved; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My penalty.

Apostles were certainly derided before you. But then I gave respite to those who were faithless, then I seized them; so how was My retribution?

And verily messengers (of Allah) were mocked before thee, but long I bore with those who disbelieved. At length I seized them, and how (awful) was My punishment!

Mocked were (many) messengers before thee: but I granted respite to the unbelievers, and finally I punished them: Then how (terrible) was my requital!

Messengers indeed were scoffed at before thee, and I respited the unbelievers; then I seized them -- and how was my retribution?

[فقط تو را مسخره نمی کنند] قطعاً پیامبرانی که پیش از تو بودند، مسخره شدند. پس به کافران مهلت دادم، سپس آنان را [به کیفر سخت] گرفتم، پس [یافتی که] مجازات و عذاب [من] چگونه بود؟ ….

و بی‌گمان، فرستادگان پیش از تو [نیز] مسخره شدند. پس به کسانی که کافر شده بودند مهلت دادم، آنگاه آنان را [به کیفر] گرفتم. پس چگونه بود کیفر من؟

And olsun ki, senden önce de nice peygamberler alaya alınmıştı. İnkar edenleri önce erteledim, sonra cezalarını verdim. Cezalandırmam nasıldı?

Dan sesungguhnya telah diperolok-olokkan beberapa rasul sebelum kamu, maka Aku beri tangguh kepada orang-orang kafir itu kemudian Aku binasakan mereka. Alangkah hebatnya siksaan-Ku itu!

پیغمبر آپ سے پہلے بہت سے رسولوں کا مذاق اڑایا گیا ہے تو ہم نے کافروں کو تھوڑی دیر کی مہلت دیدی اور اس کے بعد اپنی گرفت میں لے لیا تو کیسا سخت عذاب ہوا

আপনার পূর্বে কত রাসূলের সাথে ঠাট্টা করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর আমি কাফেরদেরকে কিছু অবকাশ দিয়েছি। , এর পর তাদেরকে পাকড়াও করেছি। অতএব কেমন ছিল আমার শাস্তি।
