‏ تا ۱۹ . شأن نزول آیات

نقل شده است که ابوجهل از اطرافیان خود سوال کرد: آیا محمّد در میان شما نیز (برای سجده) صورت به خاک می‌گذارد؟ گفتند: آری. گفت: سوگند به آنچه ما به آن سوگند یاد می‌کنیم» اگر او را در چنین حالی ببینم» با پای خود گردن او را له می‌کنم. به او گفتند: ببین» او در آنجا مشغول نماز خواندن است. ابوجهل حرکت کرد تا گردن پیامبر را زیر پای خود بفشارد؛ ولی هنگامی که نزدیک رفت.ء در حالی که گویی با دستش چیزی را از خود دور می‌کند» عقب‌نشینی کرد. به او گفتند: این چه وضعی است در تو می‌بینیم؟ گفت: ناگهان میان خودم و او خندقی از آتش و منظرة وحشتناکی دیدم و همچنین بال و پرهایی را مشاهده کردم. پیغمبر([ص) فرمود: «قسم به کسی که جانم در دست اوست. اگر به من نزدیک شده بود. فرشتگان خدا عضو عضو او را می‌ربودند.»

    Whoever should think that Allah will not support [Prophet Muhammad] in this world and the Hereafter - let him extend a rope to the ceiling, then cut off [his breath], and let him…

    [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever,

  • أَتَىٰٓ أَمْرُ ٱللَّهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

    The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
