وَمَا إِذْ مَآ عَلَىٰ مِّن مَنْ ٱلَّذِى بِهِۦ مُوسَىٰ مَّا لَمْ أَنتُمْ وَلَآ ثُمَّ فِى ﴿٩١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And they did not appraise Allah with true appraisal when they said, "Allah did not reveal to a human being anything." Say, "Who revealed the Scripture that Moses brought as light and guidance to the people? You [Jews] make it into pages, disclosing [some of] it and concealing much. And you were taught that which you knew not - neither you nor your fathers." Say, "Allah [revealed it]." Then leave them in their [empty] discourse, amusing themselves.

بهود و کتمان وحی الهی

ممکن است سوّال شود که چرا این آیه یهودیان را مذمت کرده که وحی آسمانی را روی کاغذ و مانند آن نوشته بودند؛ این که مذمتی ندارد. در پاسخ می‌گوییم: مذمت از این چهت است که آنها مطالب تورات را روی کاغذهای پراکنده و مانند آن نوشته بودند تا آنچه را که به سودشان بوده به مردم نشان دهند و آنچه را که به زیانشان بوده مخفی کنند. از امام صادق(ع) در ذیل این آیه نقل شده است: «آنها وحی الهی را در کاغذها می‌نوشتند؛ سپس آنچه را می‌خواستند. آشکار می‌کردند و آنچه را می‌خواستند. پنهان می‌کردند.»

    Those who associated with Allah will say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have associated [anything] and neither would our fathers, nor would we have prohibited anything."…

  • قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ لَا يُفْلِحُونَ

    Say, "Indeed, those who invent falsehood about Allah will not succeed."
