And [mention] the man of the fish, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him. And he called out within the darknesses, "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

And [remember] the Man of the Fish, when he left in a rage, thinking that We would not put him to hardship. Then he cried out in the darkness, ‘There is no god except You! You are immaculate! I have indeed been among the wrongdoers!’

And (mention) Dhu'n-Nun, when he went off in anger and deemed that We had no power over him, but he cried out in the darkness, saying: There is no Allah save Thee. Be Thou Glorified! Lo! I have been a wrong-doer.

And remember Zun-nun, when he departed in wrath: He imagined that We had no power over him! But he cried through the deptHs of darkness, "There is no god but thou: glory to thee: I was indeed wrong!"

And Dhul Nun -- when he went forth enraged and thought that We would have no power over him; then he called out in the darkness, 'There is no god but Thou. Glory be to Thee! I have done evil.'

و صاحب ماهی [حضرت یونس] را [یاد کن] زمانی که خشمناک [از میان قومش] رفت و گمان کرد که ما [زندگی را] بر او تنگ نخواهیم گرفت، پس در تاریکی ها [ی شب، زیر آب، و دل ماهی] ندا داد که معبودی جز تو نیست تو از هر عیب و نقصی منزّهی، همانا من از ستمکارانم.

و «ذوالنون» را [یاد کن‌] آنگاه که خشمگین رفت و پنداشت که ما هرگز بر او قدرتی نداریم، تا در [دل‌] تاریکیها ندا درداد که: «معبودی جز تو نیست، منزّهی تو، راستی که من از ستمکاران بودم.»

Zünnun (Balık Sahibi; Yunus) hakkında söylediğimizi de an. O, öfkelenerek giderken, kendisini sıkıntıya sokmayacağımızı sanmıştı; fakat sonunda karanlıklar içinde: "Senden başka tanrı yoktur, Sen münezzehsin, doğrusu ben haksızlık edenlerdenim" diye seslenmişti.

Dan (ingatlah kisah) Dzun Nun (Yunus), ketika ia pergi dalam keadaan marah, lalu ia menyangka bahwa Kami tidak akan mempersempitnya (menyulitkannya), maka ia menyeru dalam keadaan yang sangat gelap: "Bahwa tidak ada Tuhan selain Engkau. Maha Suci Engkau, sesungguhnya aku adalah termasuk orang-orang yang zalim".

اور یونس علیھ السّلامکو یاد کرو کہ جب وہ غصّہ میں آکر چلے اور یہ خیال کیا کہ ہم ان پر روزی تنگ نہ کریں گے اور پھر تاریکیوں میں جاکر آواز دی کہ پروردگار تیرے علاوہ کوئی خدا نہیں ہے تو پاک و بے نیاز ہے اور میں اپنے نفس پر ظلم کرنے والوں میں سے تھا

এবং মাছওয়ালার কথা স্মরণ করুন তিনি ক্রুদ্ধ হয়ে চলে গিয়েছিলেন, অতঃপর মনে করেছিলেন যে, আমি তাঁকে ধৃত করতে পারব না। অতঃপর তিনি অন্ধকারের মধ্যে আহবান করলেনঃ তুমি ব্যতীত কোন উপাস্য নেই; তুমি নির্দোষ আমি গুনাহগার।
