Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said, "When is the help of Allah?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

Do you suppose that you will enter paradise though there has not yet come to you the like of [what befell] those who went before you? Stress and distress befell them and they were convulsed until the apostle and the faithful who were with him said, ‘When will Allah’s help [come]?’ Behold! Allah’s help is indeed near!

Or think ye that ye will enter paradise while yet there hath not come unto you the like of (that which came to) those who passed away before you? Affliction and adversity befell them, they were shaken as with earthquake, till the messenger (of Allah) and those who believed along with him said: When cometh Allah's help? Now surely Allah's help is nigh.

Or do ye think that ye shall enter the Garden (of bliss) without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? they encountered suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those of faith who were with him cried: "When (will come) the help of Allah?" Ah! Verily, the help of Allah is (always) near!

Or did you suppose you should enter Paradise without there had come upon you the like of those who passed away before you? They were afflicted by misery and hardship and were so convulsed, that the Messenger and those who believed with him said, 'When comes God's help?' Ah, but surely God's help is nigh.

آیا پنداشته اید در حالی که هنوز حادثه هایی مانند حوادث گذشتگان شما را نیامده، وارد بهشت می شوید؟! به آنان سختی ها و آسیب هایی رسید وچنان متزلزل و مضطرب شدند تا جایی که پیامبر و کسانی که با او ایمان آورده بودند [در مقام دعا و درخواست یاری] می گفتند: یاری خدا چه زمانی است؟ [به آنان گفتیم:] آگاه باشید! یقیناً یاری خدا نزدیک است.

آیا پنداشتید که داخل بهشت می‌شوید و حال آنکه هنوز مانند آنچه بر [سر] پیشینیان شما آمد، بر [سر] شما نیامده است؟ آنان دچار سختی و زیان شدند و به [هول و] تکان درآمدند، تا جایی که پیامبر [خدا ]و کسانی که با وی ایمان آورده بودند گفتند: «پیروزی خدا کی خواهد بود؟» هش دار، که پیروزی خدا نزدیک است.

Sizden önce gelenlerin durumu sizin başınıza gelmeden cennete gireceğinizi mi zannettiniz? Peygamber ve onunla beraber müminler: "Allah'ın yardımı ne zaman?" diyecek kadar darlığa ve zorluğa uğramışlar ve sarsılmışlardı; iyi bilin ki Allah'ın yardımı şüphesiz yakındır.

Apakah kamu mengira bahwa kamu akan masuk surga, padahal belum datang kepadamu (cobaan) sebagaimana halnya orang-orang terdahulu sebelum kamu? Mereka ditimpa oleh malapetaka dan kesengsaraan, serta digoncangkan (dengan bermacam-macam cobaan) sehingga berkatalah Rasul dan orang-orang yang beriman bersamanya: "Bilakah datangnya pertolongan Allah?" Ingatlah, sesungguhnya pertolongan Allah itu amat dekat.

کیا تمہارا خیال ہے کہ تم آسانی سے جنّت میںداخل ہوجاؤ گے جبکہ ابھی تمہارے سامنے سابق اُمتوں کی مثال پیش نہیں آئی جنہیںفقر و فاقہ اور پریشانیوں نے گھیر لیا اور اتنے جھٹکے دیئے گئے کہ خود رسول اور ان کے ساتھیوں نے یہ کہناشروع کردیا کہ آخر خدائی امداد کب آئے گی. تو آگاہ ہوجاؤ کہ خدائی امداد بہت قریب ہے

তোমাদের কি এই ধারণা যে, তোমরা জান্নাতে চলে যাবে, অথচ সে লোকদের অবস্থা অতিক্রম করনি যারা তোমাদের পূর্বে অতীত হয়েছে। তাদের উপর এসেছে বিপদ ও কষ্ট। আর এমনি ভাবে শিহরিত হতে হয়েছে যাতে নবী ও তাঁর প্রতি যারা ঈমান এনেছিল তাদেরকে পর্যন্ত একথা বলতে হয়েছে যে, কখন আসবে আল্লাহর সাহায্যে! তোমরা শোনে নাও, আল্লাহর সাহায্যে একান্তই নিকটবর্তী।
