Then We sent Our messengers in succession. Every time there came to a nation its messenger, they denied him, so We made them follow one another [to destruction], and We made them narrations. So away with a people who do not believe.

Then We sent Our apostles successively. Whenever there came to a nation its apostle, they impugned him, so We made them follow one another [to extinction] and We turned them into folktales. So away with the faithless lot!

Then We sent our messengers one after another. Whenever its messenger came unto a nation they denied him; so We caused them to follow one another (to disaster) and We made them bywords. A far removal for folk who believe not!

Then sent We our messengers in succession: every time there came to a people their messenger, they accused him of falsehood: so We made them follow each other (in punishment): We made them as a tale (that is told): So away with a people that will not believe!

Then sent We Our Messengers successively; whenever its Messenger came to a nation they cried him lies, so We caused some of them to follow others, and We made them as but tales; so away with a people who do not believe!

آن گاه پیامبران را پی در پی فرستادیم؛ هر زمان برای امتی پیامبرش می آمد او را تکذیب می کردند، و ما این [امت] ها را به دنبال یکدیگر هلاک می کردیم و آنان را [به صورت] سرگذشت ها [برای عبرت دیگران] قرار دادیم؛ پس ملتی که ایمان نمی آورند از رحمت خدا دور باد.

باز فرستادگان خود را پیاپی روانه کردیم. هر بار برای [هدایت‌] امتی پیامبرش آمد، او را تکذیب کردند؛ پس [ما امتهای سرکش را] یکی پس از دیگری آوردیم و آنها را مایه عبرت [و زبانزد مردم‌] گردانیدیم. دور باد [از رحمت خدا] مردمی که ایمان نمی‌آورند.

Sonra birbiri peşinden peygamberlerimizi gönderdik. Her ümmete peygamberi geldikçe onu yalancı saydılar. Onları birbiri peşinden yok edip hepsini birer efsane yaptık. İnanmayan millet, rahmetden ırak olsun!

Kemudian Kami utus (kepada umat-umat itu) rasul-rasul Kami berturut-turut. Tiap-tiap seorang rasul datang kepada umatnya, umat itu mendustakannya, maka Kami perikutkan sebagian mereka dengan sebagian yang lain. Dan Kami jadikan mereka buah tutur (manusia), maka kebinasaanlah bagi orang-orang yang tidak beriman.

اس کے بعد ہم نے مسلسل رسول بھیجے اور جب کسی امتّ کے پاس کوئی رسول آیا تو اس نے رسول کی تکذیب کی اور ہم نے بھی سب کو عذاب کی منزل میں ایک کے پیچھے ایک لگادیا اور سب کو ایک افسانہ بناکر چھوڑ دیا کہ ہلاکت اس قوم کے لئے ہے جو ایمان نہیں لاتی ہے

এরপর আমি একাদিক্রমে আমার রসূল প্রেরণ করেছি। যখনই কোন উম্মতের কাছে তাঁর রসূল আগমন করেছেন, তখনই তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। অতঃপর আমি তাদের একের পর এক ধ্বংস করেছি এবং তাদেরকে কাহিনীর বিষয়ে পরিণত করেছি। সুতরাং ধ্বংস হোক অবিশ্বাসীরা।
