O you who have believed, when the believing women come to you as emigrants, examine them. Allah is most knowing as to their faith. And if you know them to be believers, then do not return them to the disbelievers; they are not lawful [wives] for them, nor are they lawful [husbands] for them. But give the disbelievers what they have spent. And there is no blame upon you if you marry them when you have given them their due compensation. And hold not to marriage bonds with disbelieving women, but ask for what you have spent and let them ask for what they have spent. That is the judgement of Allah; He judges between you. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.

O you who have faith! When faithful women come to you as immigrants, test them. Allah knows best [the state of] their faith. Then, if you ascertain them to be [genuinely] faithful women, do not send them back to the faithless. They are not lawful for them, nor are they lawful for them, but give them what [dowry] they have spent [for them]. There is no sin upon you in marrying them when you have given them their dowries. Do not hold on to [conjugal] ties with faithless women. Demand [from the infidels] what you have spent [as dowries], and let the faithless demand [from you] what they have spent [as dowries]. That is Allah’s judgment; He judges between you, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

O ye who believe! When believing women come unto you as fugitives, examine them. Allah is Best Aware of their faith. Then, if ye know them for true believers, send them not back unto the disbelievers. They are not lawful for them (the disbelievers), nor are they (the disbelievers) lawful for them. And give them (the disbelievers) that which they have spent (upon them). And it is no sin for you to marry such women when ye have given them their dues. And hold not to the ties of disbelieving women; and ask for (the return of) that which ye have spent; and let them (the disbelievers) ask for that which they have spent. That is the judgment of Allah. He judgeth between you. Allah is Knower, Wise.

O ye who believe! When there come to you believing women refugees, examine (and test) them: Allah knows best as to their Faith: if ye ascertain that they are Believers, then send them not back to the Unbelievers. They are not lawful (wives) for the Unbelievers, nor are the (Unbelievers) lawful (husbands) for them. But pay the Unbelievers what they have spent (on their dower), and there will be no blame on you if ye marry them on payment of their dower to them. But hold not to the guardianship of unbelieving women: ask for what ye have spent on their dowers, and let the (Unbelievers) ask for what they have spent (on the dowers of women who come over to you). Such is the command of Allah: He judges (with justice) between you. And Allah is Full of Knowledge and Wisdom.

O believers, when believing women come to you as emigrants, test them. God knows very well their belief. Then, if you know them to be believers, return them not to the unbelievers. They are not permitted to the unbelievers, nor are the unbelievers permitted to them. Give the unbelievers what they have expended; and there is no fault in you to marry them when you have given them their wages. Do not hold fast to the ties of unbelieving women, and ask what you have expended, and let them ask what they have expended. That is God's judgment; He judges between you; and God is All-knowing, All-wise.

ای مؤمنان! هنگامی که زنان باایمان [با جدا شدن از همسرانشان] هجرت کنان [از دیار کفر] به سوی شما می آیند، آنان را [از جهت ایمان] بیازمایید، البته خدا خود به ایمان آنان داناتر است. پس اگر آنان را باایمان تشخیص دادید، آنان را به سوی کافران [که همسرانشان هستند] باز مگردانید، نه این زنان بر کافران حلال اند، و نه آن کافران بر این زنان حلال اند، و مهریه ای که همسران کافر به زنان مؤمن خود داده اند به آنان بپردازید، و بر شما گناهی نیست در صورتی که مهریه شان را به آنان بدهید، با آنان ازدواج کنید، و به عقد و پیوندهای زنان کافر [تان که به کفار پیوسته اند] پای بند نباشید [که آن عقد و پیوند باطل شده و وظیفه شما رها کردن آنان است] و آنچه را شما [برای همسران مرتد و فراری خود که به کافران پناهنده شده اند] هزینه کرده اید [از کافران] بخواهید، و آنان هم باید آنچه را هزینه کرده اند از شما درخواست کنند؛ این حکم خداست که میان شما حکم می کند، و خدا دانا و حکیم است.

ای کسانی که ایمان آورده‌اید، چون زنان با ایمان مهاجر، نزد شما آیند آنان را بیازمایید. خدا به ایمان آنان داناتر است. پس اگر آنان را باایمان تشخیص دادید، دیگر ایشان را به سوی کافران بازنگردانید: نه آن زنان بر ایشان حلالند و نه آن [مردان‌] بر این زنان حلال. و هر چه خرج [این زنان‌] کرده‌اند به [شوهران‌] آنها بدهید، و بر شما گناهی نیست که -در صورتی که مَهرشان را به آنان بدهید- با ایشان ازدواج کنید، و به پیوندهای قبلی کافران متمسک نشوید [و پایبند نباشید ]و آنچه را شما [برای زنان مرتد و فراری خود که به کفار پناهنده شده‌اند] خرج کرده‌اید، [از کافران‌] مطالبه کنید، و آنها هم باید آنچه را خرج کرده‌اند [از شما] مطالبه کنند. این حکم خداست [که‌] میان شما داوری می‌کند، و خدا دانای حکیم است.

Ey inananlar! İnanmış kadınlar hicret ederek size gelirlerse onları deneyin, hicretlerinin sebebini inceleyin. Allah onların imanlarını çok iyi bilir. Onların mümin kadınlar olduklarını öğrenirseniz, inkarcılara geri çevirmeyin. Bu kadınlar, o inkarcılara helal değildir Onlar da bunlara helal olmazlar. İnkarcıların bu kadınlara verdikleri mehirleri iade edin: Bu kadınların mehirlerini kendilerine verdiğiniz zaman, onlarla evlenmenizde bir engel yoktur. İnkarcı kadınları nikahınızda tutmayın; onlara verdiğiniz mehri isteyin; inkarcı erkekler de hicret eden mümin kadınlara verdikleri mehirleri istesinler. Allah'ın hükmü budur; aranızda O hükmeder. Allah bilendir, Hakim'dir.

Hai orang-orang yang beriman, apabila datang berhijrah kepadamu perempuan-perempuan yang beriman, maka hendaklah kamu uji (keimanan) mereka. Allah lebih mengetahui tentang keimanan mereka; maka jika kamu telah mengetahui bahwa mereka (benar-benar) beriman maka janganlah kamu kembalikan mereka kepada (suami-suami mereka) orang-orang kafir. Mereka tiada halal bagi orang-orang kafir itu dan orang-orang kafir itu tiada halal pula bagi mereka. Dan berikanlah kepada (suami suami) mereka, mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Dan tiada dosa atasmu mengawini mereka apabila kamu bayar kepada mereka maharnya. Dan janganlah kamu tetap berpegang pada tali (perkawinan) dengan perempuan-perempuan kafir; dan hendaklah kamu minta mahar yang telah kamu bayar; dan hendaklah mereka meminta mahar yang telah mereka bayar. Demikianlah hukum Allah yang ditetapkan-Nya di antara kamu. Dan Allah Maha Mengetahui lagi Maha Bijaksana.

~ ایمان والو جب تمہارے پاس ہجرت کرنے والی مومن عورتیں آئیں تو پہلے ان کا امتحان کرو کہ اللہ ان کے ایمان کو خوب جانتا ہے پھر اگر تم بھی دیکھو کہ یہ مومنہ ہیں توخبردار انہیں کفاّر کی طرف واپس نہ کرنا - نہ وہ ان کے لئے حلال ہیں اور نہ یہ ان کے لئے حلال ہیں اور جو خرچہ کفاّر نے مہر کا دیا ہے وہ انہیں واپس کردو اور تمہارے لئے کوئی حرج نہیں ہے کہ تم ان کی اجرت (مہر) دینے کے بعد ان سے نکاح کرلو اور خبردار کافر عورتوں کی عصمت پکڑ کر نہ رکھو اور جو تم نے خرچ کیا ہے وہ کفار سے لے لو اور جو انہوں نے خرچ کیا ہے وہ تم سے لے لیں کہ یہی حکم خدا ہے جس کا فیصلہ خدا نے تمہارے درمیان کیا ہے اور وہ بڑا صاحب ه علم و حکمت ہے

মুমিনগণ, যখন তোমাদের কাছে ঈমানদার নারীরা হিজরত করে আগমন করে, তখন তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা কর। আল্লাহ তাদের ঈমান সম্পর্কে সম্যক অবগত আছেন। যদি তোমরা জান যে, তারা ঈমানদার, তবে আর তাদেরকে কাফেরদের কাছে ফেরত পাঠিও না। এরা কাফেরদের জন্যে হালাল নয় এবং কাফেররা এদের জন্যে হালাল নয়। কাফেররা যা ব্যয় করেছে, তা তাদের দিয়ে দাও। তোমরা, এই নারীদেরকে প্রাপ্য মোহরানা দিয়ে বিবাহ করলে তোমাদের অপরাধ হবে না। তোমরা কাফের নারীদের সাথে দাম্পত্য সম্পর্ক বজায় রেখো না। তোমরা যা ব্যয় করেছ, তা চেয়ে নাও এবং তারাও চেয়ে নিবে যা তারা ব্যয় করেছে। এটা আল্লাহর বিধান; তিনি তোমাদের মধ্যে ফয়সালা করেন। আল্লাহ সর্বজ্ঞ প্রজ্ঞাময়।
