بعضی معتقدند که سقر نام تمام دوزخ نیست؛ بلکه بخش خاصی از دوزخ است که سوزندگی فوق‌العاده عجیبی دارد. در روایتی از امام صادق(ع) نقل شده است: «در جهنم دره‌ای است به نام سقر که جایگاه متکبران است و هر گاه نَقّس بکشد. دوزخ را می‌سوزاند.»

    And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day.

  • وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخْزُونِ

    And fear Allah and do not disgrace me."

  • قَالَ أَمَّا مَن ظَلَمَ فَسَوْفَ نُعَذِّبُهُۥ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِۦ فَيُعَذِّبُهُۥ عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا

    He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment.

  • ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ

    [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."
