And We gave Moses the Scripture, after We had destroyed the former generations, as enlightenment for the people and guidance and mercy that they might be reminded.

Certainly We gave Moses the Book, after We had destroyed the former generations, as [a set of] eye-openers, guidance and mercy for mankind, so that they may take admonition.

And We verily gave the Scripture unto Moses after We had destroyed the generations of old: clear testimonies for mankind, and a guidance and a mercy, that haply they might reflect.

We did reveal to Moses the Book after We had destroyed the earlier generations, (to give) Insight to men, and guidance and Mercy, that they might receive admonition.

And We gave Moses the Book, after that We had destroyed the former generations, to be examples and a guidance and a mercy, that haply so they might remember.

و پس از آنکه اقوام پیشین را [چون قوم نوح و هود و صالح و لوط] هلاک کردیم، به موسی کتاب دادیم که برای مردم وسیله بینایی و هدایت و رحمتی بود، تا متذکّر و هوشیار شوند.

و به راستی، پس از آنکه نسلهای نخستین را هلاک کردیم، به موسی کتاب دادیم که [دربردارنده‌] روشنگری‌ها و رهنمود و رحمتی برای مردم بود، امید که آنان پند گیرند.

And olsun ki, Musa'ya, ilk nesilleri yok ettikten sonra, insanlar düşünsünler diye Kitap'ı, açık belgeler, doğruluk rehberi ve rahmet olarak verdik.

Dan sesungguhnya telah Kami berikan kepada Musa Al-Kitab (Taurat) sesudah Kami binasakan generasi-generasi yang terdahulu, untuk menjadi pelita bagi manusia dan petunjuk dan rahmat, agar mereka ingat.

اور ہم نے پہلی نسلوں کو ہلاک کردینے کے بعد موسٰی کو کتاب عطا کی جو لوگوں کے لئے بصیرت کا سامان اور ہدایت و رحمت ہے اور شاید اسی طرح یہ لوگ نصیحت حاصل کرلیں

আমি পূর্ববর্তী অনেক সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করার পর মূসাকে কিতাব দিয়েছি মানুষের জন্যে জ্ঞানবর্তিকা। হেদায়েত ও রহমত, যাতে তারা স্মরণ রাখে।
