Except for those who take refuge with a people between yourselves and whom is a treaty or those who come to you, their hearts strained at [the prospect of] fighting you or fighting their own people. And if Allah had willed, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you. So if they remove themselves from you and do not fight you and offer you peace, then Allah has not made for you a cause [for fighting] against them.

excepting those who join a people between whom and you there is a treaty, or such as come to you with hearts reluctant to fight you, or to fight their own people. Had Allah wished, He would have imposed them upon you, and then they would have surely fought you. So if they keep out of your way and do not fight you, and offer you peace, then Allah does not allow you any course [of action] against them.

Except those who seek refuge with a people between whom and you there is a covenant, or (those who) come unto you because their hearts forbid them to make war on you or make war on their own folk. Had Allah willed He could have given them power over you so that assuredly they would have fought you. So, if they hold aloof from you and wage not war against you and offer you peace, Allah alloweth you no way against them.

Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them).

except those that betake themselves to a people who are joined with you by a compact, or come to you with breasts constricted from fighting with you or fighting their people. Had God willed, He would have given them authority over you, and then certainly they would have fought you. If they withdraw from you, and do not fight you, and offer you peace, then God assigns not any way to you against them.

مگر آنان که به گروهی که میان شما و ایشان پیمانی [چون پیمان متارکه جنگ یا پیمان های دیگر] است بپیوندند، یا در حالی که سینه هایشان از جنگیدن با شما یا قوم خودشان به تنگ آمده باشد به نزد شما آیند. و اگر خدا می خواست قطعاً آنان را بر شما مسلط می کرد، در آن صورت به طور یقین با شما می جنگیدند. پس اگر از شما کناره گرفتند، و با شما به جنگ برنخاستند، و پیشنهاد صلح و آشتی دادند، [به آنان تعدّی نکنید که] خدا در این صورت برای تجاوز به آنان راهی برای شما قرار نداده است.

مگر کسانی که با گروهی که میان شما و میان آنان پیمانی است، پیوند داشته باشند، یا نزد شما بیایند در حالی که سینه آنان از جنگیدن با شما یا جنگیدن با قوم خود، به تنگ آمده باشد. و اگر خدا می‌خواست، قطعاً آنان را بر شما چیره می‌کرد و حتماً با شما می‌جنگیدند. پس اگر از شما کناره‌گیری کردند و با شما نجنگیدند و با شما طرح صلح افکندند، [دیگر] خدا برای شما راهی [برای تجاوز] بر آنان قرار نداده است.

Ancak, sizinle kendileri arasında anlaşma olan bir millete sığınanlar yahut sizinle savaştan veya kendi milletleriyle savaşmaktan bıkarak size başvuranlar müstesnadır. Allah dileseydi onları üzerinize çullandırırdı da sizinle savaşırlardı. Eğer sizden uzak durur, sizinle savaşmaz, size barış teklif ederlerse Allah onlara dokunmanıza izin vermez.

kecuali orang-orang yang meminta perlindungan kepada sesuatu kaum, yang antara kamu dan kaum itu telah ada perjanjian (damai) atau orang-orang yang datang kepada kamu sedang hati mereka merasa keberatan untuk memerangi kamu dan memerangi kaumnya. Kalau Allah menghendaki, tentu Dia memberi kekuasaan kepada mereka terhadap kamu, lalu pastilah mereka memerangimu. tetapi jika mereka membiarkan kamu, dan tidak memerangi kamu serta mengemukakan perdamaian kepadamu maka Allah tidak memberi jalan bagimu (untuk menawan dan membunuh) mereka.

علاوہ ان کے جو کسی ایسی قوم سے مل جائیں جن کے اور تمہارے درمیان معاہدہ ہو یا وہ تمہارے پاس دل تنگ ہوکر آجائیں کہ نہ تم سے جنگ کریں گے اور نہ اپنی قوم سے- اور اگر خدا چاہتا تو ان کو تمہارے اوپر مسلّط کردیتا اور وہ تم سے بھی جنگ کرتے لہذا اگر تم سے الگ رہیں اور جنگ نہ کریں اور صلح کا پیغام دیں تو خدا نے تمہارے لئے ان کے اوپر کوئی راہ نہیں قرار دی ہے

কিন্তু যারা এমন সম্প্রদায়ের সাথে মিলিত হয় যে, তোমাদের মধ্যে ও তাদের মধ্যে চুক্তি আছে অথবা তোমাদের কাছে এভাবে আসে যে, তাদের অন্তর তোমাদের সাথে এবং স্বজাতির সাথেও যুদ্ধ করতে অনিচ্ছুক। যদি আল্লাহ ইচ্ছে করতেন, তবে তোমাদের উপর তাদেরকে প্রবল করে দিতেন। ফলে তারা অবশ্যই তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করত। অতঃপর যদি তারা তোমাদের থেকে পৃথক থাকে তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ না করে এবং তোমাদের সাথে সন্ধি করে, তবে আল্লাহ তোমাদের কে তাদের বিরুদ্ধে কোন পথ দেননি।
