And women of post-menstrual age who have no desire for marriage - there is no blame upon them for putting aside their outer garments [but] not displaying adornment. But to modestly refrain [from that] is better for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

As for women advanced in years who do not expect to marry, there will be no sin upon them if they put off their cloaks, without displaying their adornment. But it is better for them to be modest, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.

As for women past child-bearing, who have no hope of marriage, it is no sin for them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show adornment. But to refrain is better for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage,- there is no blame on them if they lay aside their (outer) garments, provided they make not a wanton display of their beauty: but it is best for them to be modest: and Allah is One Who sees and knows all things.

Such women as are past child- bearing and have no hope of marriage -- there is no fault in them that they put off their clothes, so be it that they flaunt no ornament; but to abstain is better for them; and God is All-hearing, All-knowing.

و بر زنان از کار افتاده ای که امید ازدواجی ندارند، گناهی نیست که حجاب و روپوش خود را کنار بگذارند، در صورتی که با زیور و آرایش خویش قصد خودآرایی نداشته باشند. و پاکدامنی برای آنان بهتر است؛ و خدا شنوا و داناست.

و بر زنان از کار افتاده‌ای که [دیگر] امید زناشویی ندارند گناهی نیست که پوشش خود را کنار نهند [به شرطی که‌] زینتی را آشکار نکنند؛ و عفّت ورزیدن برای آنها بهتر است، و خدا شنوای داناست.

Evlenme ümidi kalmayan, ihtiyarlayıp oturmuş kadınlara, süslerini açığa vurmamak şartiyle, dış esvaplarını çıkarmaktan ötürü sorumluluk yoktur; ama sakınmaları kendileri için daha iyi olur. Allah işitir ve bilir.

Dan perempuan-perempuan tua yang telah terhenti (dari haid dan mengandung) yang tiada ingin kawin (lagi), tiadalah atas mereka dosa menanggalkan pakaian mereka dengan tidak (bermaksud) menampakkan perhiasan, dan berlaku sopan adalah lebih baik bagi mereka. Dan Allah Maha Mendengar lagi Maha Bijaksana.

اور ضعیفی سے بیٹھ رہنے والی عورتیں جنہیں نکاح سے کوئی دلچسپی نہیں ہے ان کے لئے کوئی حرج نہیں ہے کہ وہ اپنے ظاہری کپڑوں کو الگ کردیں بشرطیکہ زینت کی نمائش نہ کریں اور وہ بھی عفت کا تحفظ کرتی رہیں کہ یہی ان کے حق میں بھی بہتر ہے اور اللہ سب کی سننے والا اور سب کا حال جاننے والا ہے

বৃদ্ধা নারী, যারা বিবাহের আশা রাখে না, যদি তারা তাদের সৌন্দর্য?2474;্রকাশ না করে তাদের বস্ত্র খুলে রাখে। তাদের জন্যে দোষ নেই, তবে এ থেকে বিরত থাকাই তাদের জন্যে উত্তম। আল্লাহ সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ।
