عُزَيْرٌ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن أَنَّىٰ ﴿٣٠﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved [before them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded?

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

غَرّیر کیست؟

«عزیر» نام شخصی است که یهودیان او را به زبان عبری خود» «عزرا» می‌خوانند. او همان کسی است که دین یهود را تجدید کرد. حدود نیم قرن قبل از میلاد مسیح، بخت النصر - یادشاه بابِل - به سرزمین یهودیان حمله کردء معبد بزرگشان را ویران نمود و الواح تورات را سوزاند و مردان آنها را به قتل رساند و زنان و کودکان و پیرانشان را به بابل تبعید کرد و آنها را نزدیک به یک قرن در بابل نگاه داشت تا آن‌که کورش کبیرء پادشاه ایران» بابل را فتح کرد و عزرا نزد او رفته» برای یهودیان تبعیدی شفاعت کرد و چون عزرا در نظر کورش صاحب احترام بودء شفاعتش پذیرفته شد و کورش اجازه داد که یهودیان به سرزمین خود باز گردند و با این که نسخه‌های تورات به کلی از بین رفته بود» توراتشان از نو نوشته شود. عزرا در حدود سال ۴۵۷ پیش از میلاد مسیح» مجموعه‌ای را نوشت و به نام تورات در میان یهودیان منتشر کرد؛ هر چند آن مجموعه نیز به کلی از بین رفت و صدها سال بعد دوباره تورات از نو نوشته شد. به همین جهت» عزیر در نزد یهود بسیار بزرگ و ارجمند بوده و آنها به خاطر احترام و بزرگداشت اوء او را پسر خدا نام نهادند و مانند کافران گذشتةٌ خودء کلمات کفرآمیز و شرک‌آلود به زبان جاری کردند.
