Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him].

So wrong not yourselves therein, and fight the Pagans all together as they fight you all together. But know that Allah is with those who restrain themselves.

یقیناً شماره ماه ها در پیشگاه خدا از روزی که آسمان ها و زمین را آفریده در کتاب [علم] خدا دوازده ماه است؛ از آنها چهار ماهش ماه حرام است؛ این است حساب استوار و پایدار؛ پس در این چهار ماه [با جنگ و فتنه و خونریزی] بر خود ستم روا مدارید و با همه مشرکان همان گونه که آنان با همه شما می جنگند، بجنگید و بدانید خدا با پرهیزکاران است.

در حقیقت، شماره ماه‌ها نزد خدا، از روزی که آسمانها و زمین را آفریده، در کتاب [علم‌] خدا، دوازده ماه است؛ از این [دوازده ماه‌]، چهار ماه، [ماهِ‌] حرام است. این است آیین استوار، پس در این [چهار ماه ]بر خود ستم مکنید، و همگی با مشرکان بجنگید، چنانکه آنان همگی با شما می‌جنگند، و بدانید که خدا با پرهیزگاران است.

Allah'ın gökleri ve yeri yarattığı günkü yazısında, Allah'a göre ayların sayısı onikidir. Bunlardan dördü hürmetli aydır. Bu dosdoğru bir nizamdır. Öyleyse o aylar içinde kendinize yazık etmeyin, topyekun sizinle savaşan putperestlerle siz de topyekun savaşın, Allah'ın sakınanlarla beraber olduğunu bilin.

Sesungguhnya bilangan bulan pada sisi Allah adalah dua belas bulan, dalam ketetapan Allah di waktu Dia menciptakan langit dan bumi, di antaranya empat bulan haram. Itulah (ketetapan) agama yang lurus, maka janganlah kamu menganiaya diri kamu dalam bulan yang empat itu, dan perangilah kaum musyrikin itu semuanya sebagaimana merekapun memerangi kamu semuanya, dan ketahuilah bahwasanya Allah beserta orang-orang yang bertakwa.

بیشک مہینوں کی تعداد اللہ کے نزدیک کتابِ خدا میں اس دن سے بارہ ہے جس دن اس نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو پیدا کیا ہے -ان میں سے چار مہینے محترم ہیں اور یہی سیدھا اور مستحکم دین ہے لہٰذا خبردار ان مہینوں میں اپنے اوپر ظلم نہ کرنا اور تمام مشرکین سے اسی طرح جہاد کرنا جس طرح وہ تم سے جنگ کرتے ہیں اور یہ یاد رکھنا کہ خدا صرف متقی اور پرہیزگار لوگوں کے ساتھ ہے

নিশ্চয় আল্লাহর বিধান ও গননায় মাস বারটি, আসমানসমূহ ও পৃথিবী সৃষ্টির দিন থেকে। তন্মধ্যে চারটি সম্মানিত। এটিই সুপ্রতিষ্ঠিত বিধান; সুতরাং এর মধ্যে তোমরা নিজেদের প্রতি অত্যাচার করো না। আর মুশরিকদের সাথে তোমরা যুদ্ধ কর সমবেতভাবে, যেমন তারাও তোমাদের সাথে যুদ্ধ করে যাচ্ছে সমবেতভাবে। আর মনে রেখো, আল্লাহ মুত্তাকীনদের সাথে রয়েছেন।
