So when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared for them a banquet and gave each one of them a knife and said [to Joseph], "Come out before them." And when they saw him, they greatly admired him and cut their hands and said, "Perfect is Allah! This is not a man; this is none but a noble angel."

When she heard of their machinations, she sent for them and arranged a repast, and gave each of them a knife, and said [to Joseph], ‘Come out before them.’ So when they saw him, they marvelled at him and cut their hands [absent-mindedly], and they said, ‘Good heavens! This is not a human being! This is but a noble angel!’

And when she heard of their sly talk, she sent to them and prepared for them a cushioned couch (to lie on at the feast) and gave to every one of them a knife and said (to Joseph): Come out unto them! And when they saw him they exalted him and cut their hands, exclaiming: Allah Blameless! This is no a human being. This is not other than some gracious angel.

When she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them: she gave each of them a knife: and she said (to Joseph), "Come out before them." When they saw him, they did extol him, and (in their amazement) cut their hands: they said, "Allah preserve us! no mortal is this! this is none other than a noble angel!"

When she heard their sly whispers, she sent to them, and made ready for them a repast, then she gave to each one of them a knife. 'Come forth, attend to them,' she said. And when they saw him, they so admired him that they cut their hands, saying, 'God save us! This is no mortal; he is no other but a noble angel.'

پس هنگامی که بانوی کاخ گفتارِ مکرآمیز آنان را شنید [برای آنکه به آنان ثابت کند که در این رابطه، سخنی نابجا دارند] به مهمانی دعوتشان کرد، و برای آنان تکیه گاه آماده نمود و به هر یک از آنان [برای خوردن میوه] کاردی داد و به یوسف گفت: به مجلس آنان در آی. هنگامی که او را دیدند به حقیقت در نظرشان بزرگ [و بسیار زیبا] یافتند و [از شدت شگفتی و حیرت به جای میوه] دست هایشان را بریدند و گفتند: حاشا که این بشر باشد! او جز فرشته ای بزرگوار نیست.

پس چون [همسر عزیز] از مکرشان اطلاع یافت، نزد آنان [کسی‌] فرستاد، و محفلی برایشان آماده ساخت، و به هر یک از آنان [میوه و] کاردی داد و [به یوسف‌] گفت: «بر آنان درآی.» پس چون [زنان‌] او را دیدند، وی را بس شگرف یافتند و [از شدت هیجان‌] دستهای خود را بریدند و گفتند: «منزه است خدا، این بشر نیست، این جز فرشته‌ای بزرگوار نیست.»

Kadınların kendisini yermesini işitince onları davet etti; koltuklar hazırladı; geldiklerinde her birine birer bıçak verdi. Yusuf'a: "Yanlarına çık" dedi. Kadınlar Yusuf'u görünce şaşıp ellerini kestiler ve "Allah'ı tenzih ederiz ama, bu insan değil ancak çok güzel bir melektir" dediler.

Maka tatkala wanita itu (Zulaikha) mendengar cercaan mereka, diundangnyalah wanita-wanita itu dan disediakannya bagi mereka tempat duduk, dan diberikannya kepada masing-masing mereka sebuah pisau (untuk memotong jamuan), kemudian dia berkata (kepada Yusuf): "Keluarlah (nampakkanlah dirimu) kepada mereka". Maka tatkala wanita-wanita itu melihatnya, mereka kagum kepada (keelokan rupa)nya, dan mereka melukai (jari) tangannya dan berkata: "Maha sempurna Allah, ini bukanlah manusia. Sesungguhnya ini tidak lain hanyalah malaikat yang mulia".

پھر جب زلیخا نے ان عورتوں کی مکاری اور تشہیر کا حال سنا تو بلا بھیجا اور ان کے لئے پرتکلف دعوت کا انتطام کرکے مسند لگادی اور سب کو ایک ایک چھری دے دی اور یوسف سے کہا کہ تم ان کے سامنے سے نکل جاؤ پھر جیسے ہی ان لوگوں نے دیکھا تو بڑا حسین و جمیل پایا اور اپنے ہاتھ کاٹ ڈالے اور کہا کہ ماشائ اللہ یہ تو آدمی نہیں ہے بلکہ کوئی محترم فرشتہ ہے

যখন সে তাদের চক্রান্ত শুনল, তখন তাদেরকে ডেকে পাঠাল এবং তাদের জন্যে একটি ভোজ সভার আয়োজন করল। সে তাদের প্রত্যেককে একটি ছুরি দিয়ে বললঃ ইউসুফ এদের সামনে চলে এস। যখন তারা তাকে দেখল, হতভম্ব হয়ে গেল এবং আপন হাত কেটে ফেলল। তারা বললঃ কখনই নয় এ ব্যক্তি মানব নয়। এ তো কোন মহান ফেরেশতা।
