Those will have lost who deny the meeting with Allah, until when the Hour [of resurrection] comes upon them unexpectedly, they will say, "Oh, [how great is] our regret over what we neglected concerning it," while they bear their burdens on their backs. Unquestionably, evil is that which they bear.

They are certainly losers who deny the encounter with Allah. When the Hour overtakes them suddenly, they will say, ‘Alas for us, for what we neglected in it!’ And they will bear their burdens on their backs. Look! Evil is what they bear!

They indeed are losers who deny their meeting with Allah until, when the Hour cometh on them suddenly, they cry: Alas for us, that we neglected it! They bear upon their backs their burdens. Ah, evil is that which they bear!

Lost indeed are they who treat it as a falsehood that they must meet Allah,- until on a sudden the hour is on them, and they say: "Ah! woe unto us that we took no thought of it"; for they bear their burdens on their backs, and evil indeed are the burdens that they bear?

Lost indeed are they that cried lies to the encounter with God, so that when the Hour comes to them suddenly they shall say, 'Alas for us, that we neglected it!' On their backs they shall be bearing their loads; O how evil the loads they bear!

کسانی که دیدار [پاداش و مقام قرب] خدا را تکذیب کردند، یقیناً دچار زیان شدند. تا هنگامی که قیامت به طور ناگهان و غافل گیرانه به آنان رسد، می گویند: ای بر ما دریغ و افسوس که نسبت به تکالیف و وظایف شرعی خود کوتاهی کردیم. و آنان بار سنگین گناهانشان را بر دوش می کشند؛ آگاه باشید! بد باری است که بر دوش خواهند کشید.

کسانی که لقای الهی را دروغ انگاشتند قطعاً زیان دیدند. تا آنگاه که قیامت بناگاه بر آنان دررسد، می‌گویند: «ای دریغ بر ما، بر آنچه در باره آن کوتاهی کردیم.» و آنان بار سنگین گناهانشان را به دوش می‌کشند. چه بد است باری که می‌کِشند.

Allah'a kavuşmayı yalanlayanlar doğrusu kaybedenlerdir ki kıyamet saati onlara ansızın gelince, ağırlıklarını arkalarına yüklenerek, "Dünyada işlediğimiz büyük kusurlardan ötürü yazıklar olsun bize" derler. Dikkat edin, yüklendikleri şeyler ne kötüdür!

Sungguh telah rugilah orang-orang yang mendustakan pertemuan mereka dengan Tuhan; sehingga apabila kiamat datang kepada mereka dengan tiba-tiba, mereka berkata: "Alangkah besarnya penyesalan kami, terhadap kelalaian kami tentang kiamat itu!", sambil mereka memikul dosa-dosa di atas punggungnya. Ingatlah, amat buruklah apa yang mereka pikul itu.

بیشک وہ لوگ خسارہ میں ہیں جنہوں نے اللہ کی ملاقات کا انکار کیا یہاں تک کہ جب اچانک قیامت آگئی تو کہنے لگے کہ ہائے افسوس ہم نے قیامت کے بارے میں بہت کوتاہی کی ہے -اس وقت وہ اپنے گناہوں کا بوجھ اپنی پشت پر لادے ہوں گے اور یہ بدترین بوجھ ہوگا

নিশ্চয় তারা ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত, যারা আল্লাহর সাক্ষাৎকে মিথ্যা মনে করেছে। এমনকি, যখন কিয়ামত তাদের কাছে অকস্মাৎ এসে যাবে, তারা বলবেঃ হায় আফসোস, এর ব্যাপারে আমরা কতই না ক্রটি করেছি। তার স্বীয় বোঝা স্বীয় পৃষ্ঠে বহন করবে। শুনে রাখ, তারা যে বোঝা বহন করবে, তা নিকৃষ্টতর বোঝা।
