Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them which We had established upon the earth as We have not established you? And We sent [rain from] the sky upon them in showers and made rivers flow beneath them; then We destroyed them for their sins and brought forth after them a generation of others.

Have they not regarded how many a generation We have destroyed before them whom We had granted power in the land in respects that We did not grant you, and We sent abundant rains for them from the sky and made streams run for them? Then We destroyed them for their sins, and brought forth another generation after them.

See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation.

See they not how many of those before them We did destroy?- generations We had established on the earth, in strength such as We have not given to you - for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance, and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them, and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them).

Have they not regarded how We destroyed before them many a generation We established in the earth, as We never established you, and how We loosed heaven upon them in torrents, and made the rivers to flow beneath them? Then We destroyed them because of their sins, and raised up after them another generation;

آیا ندانسته اند که پیش از ایشان چه بسیار از ملت ها و اقوام را هلاک کردیم؟ که به آنان در پهنه زمین، نعمت ها و امکاناتی دادیم که به شما ندادیم، و بر آنان باران های پی در پی و پر ریزش فرستادیم و نهرهایی از زیر پای آنان جاری ساختیم [ولی ناسپاسی کردند]؛ پس آنان را به کیفر گناهانشان هلاک کردیم، و بعد از آنان اقوامی دیگر را پدید آوردیم.

آیا ندیده‌اند که پیش از آنان چه بسیار امتها را هلاک کردیم؟ [امتهایی که‌] در زمین به آنان امکاناتی دادیم که برای شما آن امکانات را فراهم نکرده‌ایم، و [بارانهای‌] آسمان را پی در پی بر آنان فرو فرستادیم، و رودبارها از زیر [شهرهای‌] آنان روان ساختیم. پس ایشان را به [سزای‌] گناهانشان هلاک کردیم، و پس از آنان نسلهای دیگری پدید آوردیم.

Onlardan önce nice nesilleri yok ettiğimizi görmediler mi? Onları, sizi yerleştirmediğimiz bir şekilde yeryüzüne yerleştirmiş, gökten bol yağmur yağdırmış, altlarından ırmaklar akıtmıştık. Fakat onları günahlarından ötürü yok ettik ve ardlarından başka bir nesil yetiştirdik.

Apakah mereka tidak memperhatikan berapa banyak generasi yang telah Kami binasakan sebelum mereka, padahal (generasi itu) telah Kami teguhkan kedudukan mereka di muka bumi, yaitu keteguhan yang belum pernah Kami berikan kepadamu, dan Kami curahkan hujan yang lebat atas mereka dan Kami jadikan sungai-sungai mengalir di bawah mereka, kemudian Kami binasakan mereka karena dosa mereka sendiri, dan Kami ciptakan sesudah mereka generasi yang lain.

کیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ ہم نے ان سے پہلے کتنی نسلوں کو تباہ کردیا ہے جنہیں تم سے زیادہ زمین میں اقتدار دیا تھا اور ان پر موسلادھار پانی بھی برسایا تھا -ان کے قدموں میں نہریں بھی جاری تھیں پھر ان کے گناہوں کی بنا پر انہیں ہلاک کردیا اور ان کے بعد دوسری نسل جاری کردی

তারা কি দেখেনি যে, আমি তাদের পুর্বে কত সম্প্রদায়কে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি, যাদেরকে আমি পৃথিবীতে এমন প্রতিষ্ঠা দিয়েছিলাম, যা তোমাদেরকে দেইনি। আমি আকাশকে তাদের উপর অনবরত বৃষ্টি বর্ষণ করতে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের তলদেশে নদী সৃষ্টি করে দিয়েছি, অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে তাদের পাপের কারণে ধ্বংস করে দিয়েছি এবং তাদের পরে অন্য সম্প্রদায় সৃষ্টি করেছি।
