Has it not become clear to those who inherited the earth after its [previous] people that if We willed, We could afflict them for their sins? But We seal over their hearts so they do not hear.

Does it not dawn upon those who inherited the earth after its [former] inhabitants that if We wish We will punish them for their sins, and set a seal on their hearts so they would not hear?

Is it not an indication to those who inherit the land after its people (who thus reaped the consequence of evil-doing) that, if We will, We can smite them for their sins and print upon their hearts so that they hear not?

To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear?

Is it not a guidance to those who inherit the earth after those who inhabited it that, did We will, We would smite them because of their sins, sealing their hearts so they do not hear?

آیا [سرگذشت عبرت آموز پیشینیان] برای کسانی که زمین را پس از صاحبانش به ارث می برند، روشن نکرده که اگر ما بخواهیم آنان را به کیفر گناهانشان می رسانیم و بر دل هایشان مهر می زنیم، پس آنان [دعوت حق را] نشنوند؟

مگر برای کسانی که زمین را پس از ساکنان [پیشین‌] آن به ارث می‌برند، باز ننموده است که اگر می‌خواستیم آنان را به [کیفر] گناهانشان می‌رساندیم و بر دلهایشان مُهر می‌نهادیم تا دیگر نشنوند.

Kalblerini kapatıp mühürleriz de birşey duymazlar.

Dan apakah belum jelas bagi orang-orang yang mempusakai suatu negeri sesudah (lenyap) penduduknya, bahwa kalau Kami menghendaki tentu Kami azab mereka karena dosa-dosanya; dan Kami kunci mati hati mereka sehingga mereka tidak dapat mendengar (pelajaran lagi)?

کیا ایک قوم کے بعد دوسرے زمین کے وارث ہونے والوں کو یہ ہدایت نہیں ملتی کہ اگر ہم چاہتے تو ان کے گناہوں کی بنا پر انہیں بھی مبتلائے مصیبت کردیتے اور ان کے دلوں پر مہرلگادیتے اور پھر انہیں کچھ سنائی نہ دیتا

তাদের নিকট কি একথা প্রকাশিত হয়নি, যারা উত্তারাধিকার লাভ করেছে। সেখানকার লোকদের ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত হবার পর যদি আমি ইচ্ছা করতাম, , তবে তাদেরকে তাদের পাপের দরুন পাকড়াও করে ফেলতাম। বস্তুতঃ আমি মোহর এঁটে দিয়েছি তাদের অন্তরসমূহের উপর। কাজেই এরা শুনতে পায় না।
