And when Our verses are recited to them, they say, "We have heard. If we willed, we could say [something] like this. This is not but legends of the former peoples."

When Our signs are recited to them, they say, ‘We have heard already. If we want, we [too] can say like this. These are nothing but myths of the ancients.’

And when Our revelations are recited unto them they say: We have heard. If we wish we can speak the like of this. Lo! this is naught but fables of the men of old.

When Our Signs are rehearsed to them, they say: "We have heard this (before): if we wished, we could say (words) like these: these are nothing but tales of the ancients."

And When Our signs were being recited to them, they said, 'We have already heard; if we wished, we could say the like of this; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.'

و هنگامی که آیات ما را بر آنان می خوانند، می گویند: البته شنیدیم [ولی این آیات، مطلب فوق العاده ای نیست] ما هم اگر بخواهیم مانند آن را می گوییم، این آیات جز افسانه پیشینیان نیست!!

و چون آیات ما بر آنان خوانده شود، می‌گویند: «به خوبی شنیدیم، اگر می‌خواستیم، قطعاً ما نیز همانند این را می‌گفتیم، این جز افسانه‌های پیشینیان نیست.»

Ayetlerimiz onlara okunduğu zaman, "İşittik, işittik! İstesek biz de aynını söyleyebiliriz; bu sadece eskilerin masallarıdır" derlerdi.

Dan apabila dibacakan kepada mereka ayat-ayat Kami, mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami telah mendengar (ayat-ayat yang seperti ini), kalau kami menhendaki niscaya kami dapat membacakan yang seperti ini, (Al Quran) ini tidak lain hanyalah dongeng-dongengan orang-orang purbakala".

اور ان کا یہ حال ہے کہ جب ہماری آیتوں کی تلاوت کی جاتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ سن لیا -ہم خود بھی چاہیں تو ایسا ہی کہہ سکتے ہیں یہ تو صرف پچھلے لوگوں کی داستانیں ہیں

আর কেউ যখন তাদের নিকট আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করে তবে বলে, আমরা শুনেছি, ইচ্ছা করলে আমরাও এমন বলতে পারি; এ তো পূর্ববর্তী ইতিকথা ছাড়া আর কিছুই নয়।
