And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend.

They were about to beguile you from what Allah has revealed to you so that you may fabricate something other than that against Us, whereat they would have befriended you.

And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend.

And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend!

Indeed they were near to seducing thee from that We revealed to thee, that thou mightest forge against Us another, and then they would surely have taken thee as a friend;

و نزدیک بود که تو را از آنچه به تو وحی کردیم، بلغزانند تا غیر آن را از روی افترا به ما نسبت دهی و در این صورت، تو را دوست خود می گرفتند.

و چیزی نمانده بود که تو را از آنچه به سوی تو وحی کرده‌ایم گمراه کنند تا غیر از آن را بر ما ببندی و در آن صورت تو را به دوستی خود بگیرند.

Seni, sana vahyettiğimizden ayırıp başka bir şeyi Bize karşı uydurman için uğraşırlar. O zaman seni dost edinirler.

Dan sesungguhnya mereka hampir memalingkan kamu dari apa yang telah Kami wahyukan kepadamu, agar kamu membuat yang lain secara bohong terhadap Kami; dan kalau sudah begitu tentulah mereka mengambil kamu jadi sahabat yang setia.

اور یہ ظالم اس بات کے کوشاں تھے کہ آپ کو ہماری وحی سے ہٹا کر دوسری باتوں کے افترا پر آمادہ کردیں اور اس طرح یہ آپ کو اپنا دوست بنالیتے

তারা তো আপনাকে হটিয়ে দিতে চাচ্ছিল যে বিষয় আমি আপনার প্রতি ওহীর মাধ্যমে যা প্রেরণ করেছি তা থেকে আপনার পদঙ্খলন ঘটানোর জন্যে তারা চুড়ান্ত চেষ্টা করেছে, যাতে আপনি আমার প্রতি কিছু মিথ্যা সম্বন্ধযুক্ত করেন। এতে সফল হলে তারা আপনাকে বন্ধুরূপে গ্রহণ করে নিত।
