    And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing.

  • وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلْأَتْقَى

    But the righteous one will avoid it -

  • أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰ

    As for he who thinks himself without need,

  • أَوْ يُوبِقْهُنَّ بِمَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَيَعْفُ عَن كَثِيرٍ

    Or He could destroy them for what they earned; but He pardons much.

  • كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِـَٔايَٰتِنَا عَنِيدًا

    No! Indeed, he has been toward Our verses obstinate.
