That is more likely that they will give testimony according to its [true] objective, or [at least] they would fear that [other] oaths might be taken after their oaths. And fear Allah and listen; and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.

That makes it likelier that they give the testimony in its genuine form, or fear that other oaths will be taken after their oaths. Be wary of Allah and listen, and Allah does not guide the transgressing lot.

Thus it is more likely that they will bear true witness or fear that after their oaths the oaths (of others) will be taken. So be mindful of your duty (to Allah) and hearken. Allah guideth not the froward folk.

That is most suitable: that they may give the evidence in its true nature and shape, or else they would fear that other oaths would be taken after their oaths. But fear Allah, and listen (to His counsel): for Allah guideth not a rebellious people:

So it is likelier that they will bear testimony in proper form, or else they will be afraid that after their oaths, oaths may be rebutted. Fear God, and hearken; God guides not the people of the ungodly.

این [حکم به ترتیبی که خدا برای شما مقرّر کرده] برای اینکه شاهدان شهادت را به صورتی درست و صحیح ادا کنند یا بترسند، [از اینکه مشتشان باز شود و سوگندشان مورد توجه قرار نگیرد] و حقّ سوگندشان به دیگران برگردانده شود، به حقیقت نزدیک تر است. و از خدا پروا کنید و [فرمان هایش را] بشنوید؛ و خدا گروه فاسقان را هدایت نمی کند.

این [روش‌] برای اینکه شهادت را به صورت درست ادا کنند، یا بترسند که بعد از سوگندخوردنشان، سوگندهایی [به وارثان میت‌] برگردانده شود، [به صواب‌] نزدیکتر است. و از خدا پروا دارید، و [این پندها را] بشنوید، و خدا گروه فاسقان را هدایت نمی‌کند.

Bu, şahidliği gerektiği gibi yapmalarını veya yeminlerinden sonra yeminlerin kabul edilmemesinden korkmalarını daha iyi sağlar. Allah'tan sakının, dinleyin. Allah fasık kimselere yol göstermez.

Itu lebih dekat untuk (menjadikan para saksi) mengemukakan persaksiannya menurut apa yang sebenarnya, dan (lebih dekat untuk menjadikan mereka) merasa takut akan dikembalikan sumpahnya (kepada ahli waris) sesudah mereka bersumpah. Dan bertakwalah kepada Allah dan dengarkanlah (perintah-Nya). Allah tidak memberi petunjuk kepada orang-orang yang fasik.

یہ بہترین طریقہ ہے کہ شہادت کو صحیح طریقہ سے پیش کریں یا اس بات سے ڈریں کہ کہیں ہماری گواہی دوسروں کی گواہی کے بعد رد نہ کردی جائے اوراللہ سے ڈرتے رہو اور اس کی سنو کہ وہ فاسق قوم کی ہدایت نہیں کرتا ہے

এটি এ বিষয়ের নিকটতম উপায় যে, তারা ঘটনাকে সঠিকভাবে প্রকাশ করবে অথবা আশঙ্কা করবে যে, তাদের কাছ থেকে কসম নেয়ার পর আবার কসম চাওয়া হবে। আল্লাহকে ভয় কর এবং শুন, আল্লাহ দুরাচারীদেরকে পথ-প্রদর্শন করবেন না।
