And recite to them the story of Adam's two sons, in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice [to Allah], and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. Said [the latter], "I will surely kill you." Said [the former], "Indeed, Allah only accepts from the righteous [who fear Him].

Relate to them truly the account of Adam’s two sons. When the two of them offered an offering, it was accepted from one of them and not accepted from the other. [One of them] said, ‘Surely I will kill you.’ [The other one] said, ‘Allah accepts only from the Godwary.

But recite unto them with truth the tale of the two sons of Adam, how they offered each a sacrifice, and it was accepted from the one of them and it was not accepted from the other. (The one) said: I will surely kill thee. (The other) answered: Allah accepteth only from those who ward off (evil).

Recite to them the truth of the story of the two sons of Adam. Behold! they each presented a sacrifice (to Allah): It was accepted from one, but not from the other. Said the latter: "Be sure I will slay thee." "Surely," said the former, "Allah doth accept of the sacrifice of those who are righteous.

And recite thou to them the story of the two sons of Adam truthfully, when they offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted of one of them, and not accepted of the other. 'I will surely slay thee,' said one. 'God accepts only of the godfearing,' said the other.

وداستان دو پسر آدم را [که سراسر پند و عبرت است] به درستی و راستی بر آنان بخوان، هنگامی که هر دو نفر با انجام کار نیکی به پروردگار تقرّب جستند، پس از یکی پذیرفته شد، و از دیگری پذیرفته نشد. [برادری که عملش پذیرفته نشد از روی حسد و خودخواهی به برادرش] گفت: بی تردید تو را می کشم. [او] گفت: خدا فقط از پرهیزکاران می پذیرد.

و داستان دو پسر آدم را به درستی بر ایشان بخوان، هنگامی که [هر یک از آن دو،] قربانیی پیش داشتند. پس، از یکی از آن دو پذیرفته شد و از دیگری پذیرفته نشد. [قابیل‌] گفت: «حتماً تو را خواهم کشت.» [هابیل‌] گفت: «خدا فقط از تقواپیشگان می‌پذیرد.»

Onlara, Adem'in iki oğlunun kıssasını doğru olarak anlat: İkisi birer kurban sunmuşlar, birininki kabul edilmiş, diğerininki edilmemişti. Kabul edilmeyen, "And olsun seni öldüreceğim" deyince, kardeşi: "Allah ancak sakınanların takdimesini kabul eder" demişti.

Ceritakanlah kepada mereka kisah kedua putera Adam (Habil dan Qabil) menurut yang sebenarnya, ketika keduanya mempersembahkan korban, maka diterima dari salah seorang dari mereka berdua (Habil) dan tidak diterima dari yang lain (Qabil). Ia berkata (Qabil): "Aku pasti membunuhmu!". Berkata Habil: "Sesungguhnya Allah hanya menerima (korban) dari orang-orang yang bertakwa".

اور پیغمبر علیھ السّلامآپ ان کو آدم علیھ السّلامکے دونوں فرزندوں کا سچا ّقصّہ پڑھ کر سنائیے کہ جب دونوں نے قربانی دی اور ایک کی قربانی قبول ہوگئی اور دوسرے کی نہ ہوئی تو اس نے کہا کہ میں تجھے قتل کردوں گا تو دوسرے نے جواب دیا کہ میرا کیا قصور ہے خدا صرف صاحبان ه تقوٰی کے اعمال کو قبول کرتا ہے

আপনি তাদেরকে আদমের দুই পুত্রের বাস্তব অবস্থা পাঠ করে শুনান। যখন তারা ভয়েই কিছু উৎসর্গ নিবেদন করেছিল, তখন তাদের একজনের উৎসর্গ গৃহীত হয়েছিল এবং অপরজনের গৃহীত হয়নি। সে বললঃ আমি অবশ্যই তোমাকে হত্যা করব। সে বললঃ আল্লাহ ধর্মভীরুদের পক্ষ থেকেই তো গ্রহণ করেন।
