لَّن عَنْهُمْ وَلَآ مِّنَ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ فِيهَا ﴿١٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Never will their wealth or their children avail them against Allah at all. Those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally

  • وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ وَتَصِفُ أَلْسِنَتُهُمُ ٱلْكَذِبَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ لَا جَرَمَ أَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلنَّارَ وَأَنَّهُم مُّفْرَطُونَ

    And they attribute to Allah that which they dislike, and their tongues assert the lie that they will have the best [from Him]. Assuredly, they will have the Fire, and they will be…

  • بَلَىٰ مَن كَسَبَ سَيِّئَةً وَأَحَٰطَتْ بِهِۦ خَطِيٓـَٔتُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ

    Yes, whoever earns evil and his sin has encompassed him - those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

  • وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَأَوْلَٰدُهُمْ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كَٰفِرُونَ

    And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are…
