O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves.

O you who have faith! Do not befriend a people at whom Allah is wrathful: they have despaired of the Hereafter, just as the faithless have despaired of the occupants of the graves.

O ye who believe! Be not friendly with a folk with whom Allah is wroth, (a folk) who have despaired of the Hereafter as the disbelievers despair of those who are in the graves.

O ye who believe! Turn not (for friendship) to people on whom is the Wrath of Allah, of the Hereafter they are already in despair, just as the Unbelievers are in despair about those (buried) in graves.

O believers, take not for friends a people against whom God is wrathful, and who have despaired of the world to come, even as the unbelievers have despaired of the inhabitants of the tombs.

ای مؤمنان! با قومی که خدا بر آنان خشم گرفته، دوستی نکنید. آنان به یقین از آخرت مأیوسند، همان گونه که کافران مدفون در قبرها [که به سرانجام شوم خود رسیده اند، از نجات خویش] مأیوسند.

ای کسانی که ایمان آورده‌اید، مردمی را که خدا بر آنان خشم رانده، به دوستی مگیرید. آنها واقعاً از آخرت سلب امید کرده‌اند، همان گونه که کافران اهل گور قطع امید نموده‌اند.

Ey inananlar! Allah'ın gazabına uğramış milleti dost edinmeyin; inkarcıların kabirde bulunan kimselerden umutlarını kestikleri gibi, onlar da, ahiretten umutlarını kesmişlerdir.

Hai orang-orang yang beriman, janganlah kamu jadikan penolongmu kaum yang dimurkai Allah. Sesungguhnya mereka telah putus asa terhadap negeri akhirat sebagaimana orang-orang kafir yang telah berada dalam kubur berputus asa.

ایمان والو خبردار اس قوم سے ہرگز دوستی نہ کرنا جس پر خدا نے غضب نازل کیا ہے کہ وہ آخرت سے اسی طرح مایوس ہوں گے جس طرح کفاّر قبر والوں سے مایوس ہوجاتے ہیں

মুমিনগণ, আল্লাহ যে জাতির প্রতি রুষ্ট, তোমরা তাদের সাথে বন্ধুত্ব করো না। তারা পরকাল সম্পর্কে নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে যেমন কবরস্থ কাফেররা নিরাশ হয়ে গেছে।
