And do not be like she who untwisted her spun thread after it was strong [by] taking your oaths as [means of] deceit between you because one community is more plentiful [in number or wealth] than another community. Allah only tries you thereby. And He will surely make clear to you on the Day of Resurrection that over which you used to differ.

Do not be like her who would undo her yarn, breaking it up after [spinning it to] strength, by making your oaths a means of [mutual] deceit among yourselves, so that one community may become more affluent than another community. Indeed Allah tests you thereby, and He will surely clarify for you on the Day of Resurrection what you used to differ about.

And be not like unto her who unravelleth the thread, after she hath made it strong, to thin filaments, making your oaths a deceit between you because of a nation being more numerous than (another) nation. Allah only trieth you thereby, and He verily will explain to you on the Day of Resurrection that wherein ye differed.

And be not like a woman who breaks into untwisted strands the yarn which she has spun, after it has become strong. Nor take your oaths to practise deception between yourselves, lest one party should be more numerous than another: for Allah will test you by this; and on the Day of Judgment He will certainly make clear to you (the truth of) that wherein ye disagree.

And be not as a woman who breaks her thread, after it is firmly spun, into fibres, by taking your oaths as mere mutual deceit, one nation being more numerous than another nation. God only tries you thereby; and certainly He will make clear to you upon the Day of Resurrection that whereon you were at variance.

و مانند آن [زنی] که پشم های تابیده خود را پس از استحکام و استواری وا می تابانید، نباشید که سوگندهایتان را میان خود به بهانه اینکه گروهی [چون مشرکان] از گروهی [چون مؤمنان] از نظر نفرات و امکانات افزون ترند، مایه خیانت و فساد قرار دهید [به این صورت که از روی تظاهر، مؤمنان را با سوگندهایتان دلخوش کنید که با آنان هستید، و در پشت پرده سوگندهایتان را بشکنید، و به خیال اینکه از ضربه های دشمن در امان بمانید، به دشمن بپیوندید] جز این نیست که خدا شما را به وسیله آن [نفرات اندک وافزونی نفرات دشمن] آزمایش می کند، و روز قیامت آنچه را [از حق و باطل] همواره در آن اختلاف می کردید، برای شما روشن می سازد.

و مانند آن [زنی‌] که رشته خود را پس از محکم بافتن، [یکی یکی‌] از هم می‌گسست مباشید که سوگندهای خود را میان خویش وسیله [فریب و] تقلّب سازید [به خیال این‌] که گروهی از گروه دیگر [در داشتن امکانات‌] افزونترند. جز این نیست که خدا شما را بدین وسیله می‌آزماید و روز قیامت در آنچه اختلاف می‌کردید، قطعاً برای شما توضیح خواهد داد.

Bir ümmetin diğerinden daha çok olmasından ötürü, aranızdaki yeminleri bozarak, ipliğini iyice eğirip katladıktan sonra bozan kadın gibi olmayın. Allah onunla sizi dener. And olsun ki, ayrılığa düştüğünüz şeyleri size kıyamet günü açıklar.

Dan janganlah kamu seperti seorang perempuan yang menguraikan benangnya yang sudah dipintal dengan kuat, menjadi cerai berai kembali, kamu menjadikan sumpah (perjanjian)mu sebagai alat penipu di antaramu, disebabkan adanya satu golongan yang lebih banyak jumlahnya dari golongan yang lain. Sesungguhnya Allah hanya menguji kamu dengan hal itu. Dan sesungguhnya di hari kiamat akan dijelaskan-Nya kepadamu apa yang dahulu kamu perselisihkan itu.

اور خبردار اس عورت کے مانند نہ ہوجاؤ جس نے اپنے دھاگہ کو مضبوط کاتنے کے بعد پھر اسے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کرڈالا-کیا تم اپنے معاہدے کو اس چالاکی کا ذریعہ بناتے ہو کہ ایک گروہ دوسرے گروہ سے زیادہ فائدہ حاصل کرے-اللہ تمہیں ان ہی باتوں کے ذریعے آزما رہا ہے اور یقینا روزِ قیامت اس امر کی وضاحت کردے گا جس میںتم آپس میں اختلاف کررہے تھے

তোমরা ঐ মহিলার মত হয়ো না, যে পরিশ্রমের পর কাটা সূতা টুকরো টুকরো করে ছিড়ে ফেলে, তোমরা নিজেদের কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক প্রবঞ্চনার বাহানা রূপে গ্রহণ কর এজন্যে যে, অন্য দল অপেক্ষা এক দল অধিক ক্ষমতাবান হয়ে যায়। এতদ্বারা তো আল্লাহ শুধু তোমাদের পরীক্ষা করেন। আল্লাহ অবশ্যই কিয়ামতের দিন প্রকাশ করে দেবেন, যে বিষয়ে তোমরা কলহ করতে।
