And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day.

So they impugned him, and then they were overtaken by the punishment of the day of the overshadowing cloud. It was indeed the punishment of a terrible day.

But they denied him, so there came on them the retribution of the day of gloom. Lo! it was the retribution of an awful day.

But they rejected him. Then the punishment of a day of overshadowing gloom seized them, and that was the Penalty of a Great Day.

But they cried him lies; then there seized them the chastisement of the Day of Shadow; assuredly it was the chastisement of a dreadful day.

پس او را تکذیب کردند؛ در نتیجه عذاب روز سایبان [یعنی روزی که ابری تیره و صاعقه زا سایه می اندازد] آنان را فرا گرفت، همانا آن عذاب روزی بزرگ بود،

پس او را تکذیب کردند، و عذابِ روزِ ابر [آتشبار] آنان را فرو گرفت. به راستی آن، عذاب روزی هولناک بود.

Ama onu yalanladılar. Bunun üzerine onları bulutlu bir günün azabı yakaladı. Gerçekten o gün, azabı büyük bir gündü.

Kemudian mereka mendustakan Syu'aib, lalu mereka ditimpa azab pada hari mereka dinaungi awan. Sesungguhnya azab itu adalah azab hari yang besar.

پھر ان لوگوں نے تکذیب کی تو انہیں سایہ کے دن کے عذاب نے اپنی گرفت میں لے لیا کہ یہ بڑے سخت دن کا عذاب تھا

অতঃপর তারা তাঁকে মিথ্যাবাদী বলে দিল। ফলে তাদেরকে মেঘাচ্ছন্ন দিবসের আযাব পাকড়াও করল। নিশ্চয় সেটা ছিল এক মহাদিবসের আযাব।
