وَلَئِن إِنَّمَا ﴿٦٥﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?"

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

عذر بدتر از گناه منافقان

پس از آن که دست منافقان رو شد و نقشهٌ آنها نقش بر آب گشت. در پاسخ بازخواست پیامبر(ص) در بارة هدفشان از آن کمین و حملةٌ ناگهانی گفتند: ما قصد سوئی نداشتیم و آن گونه که شما بدگمان شده‌اید نیست؛ بلکه مانند سوارکاران در جاده مشغول بازی و تفریح بودیم و کارمان جدّی نبود. خداوند به پیامبر می‌فرماید که به آنها بگو: آیا عذر بدتر از گناه می‌آورید؟! آن نقشةٌ شوم» گناهی بود و این عذرتراشی که در حقیقت مسخره کردن پیامبر است. گناهی دیگر و کفر به خدا و یات او و پیامبرش.

  • قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ رَبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ

    They said, "Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."

  • سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ

    They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?"

  • وَإِذَا لَقُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتُحَدِّثُونَهُم بِمَا فَتَحَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ لِيُحَآجُّوكُم بِهِۦ عِندَ رَبِّكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

    And when they meet those who believe, they say, "We have believed"; but when they are alone with one another, they say, "Do you talk to them about what Allah has revealed to you…

  • وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ

    And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule.
