Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment.

Those who blame the voluntary donors from among the faithful concerning the charities—and as for those who do not find [anything] except [what] their means [permit], they ridicule them—Allah shall put them to ridicule, and there is a painful punishment for them.

Those who point at such of the believers as give the alms willingly and such as can find naught to give but their endeavours, and deride them - Allah (Himself) derideth them. Theirs will be a painful doom.

Those who slander such of the believers as give themselves freely to (deeds of) charity, as well as such as can find nothing to give except the fruits of their labour,- and throw ridicule on them,- Allah will throw back their ridicule on them: and they shall have a grievous penalty.

Those who find fault with the believers who volunteer their freewill offerings, and those who find nothing but their endeavour they deride -- God derides them; for them awaits a painful chastisement.

آنان که در رابطه باصدقات از مؤمنانی که [افزون بر صدقه واجبشان از روی رضا ورغبت] صدقه [مستحبی] می پردازند، عیب جویی می کنند، و کسانی را که جز به اندازه قدرتشان [ثروت و مالی] نمی یابند [تا صدقه دهند] مسخره می کنند؛ خدا هم کیفر مسخره آنان را خواهدداد و برای آنان عذابی دردناک خواهدبود.

کسانی که بر مؤمنانی که [افزون بر صدقه واجب‌]، از روی میل، صدقات [مستحبّ نیز] می‌دهند، عیب می‌گیرند، و [همچنین‌] از کسانی که [در انفاق‌] جز به اندازه توانشان نمی‌یابند، [عیبجویی می‌کنند] و آنان را به ریشخند می‌گیرند، [بدانند که ]خدا آنان را به ریشخند می‌گیرد و برای ایشان عذابی پر درد خواهد بود.

Sadaka vermekte gönülden davranan müminlere dil uzatan ve ancak ellerinden geldiği kadar verebilenlerle alay eden kimselere bu davranışlarının cezasını Allah verir; onlara can yakıcı azab vardır.

(Orang-orang munafik itu) yaitu orang-orang yang mencela orang-orang mukmin yang memberi sedekah dengan sukarela dan (mencela) orang-orang yang tidak memperoleh (untuk disedekahkan) selain sekedar kesanggupannya, maka orang-orang munafik itu menghina mereka. Allah akan membalas penghinaan mereka itu, dan untuk mereka azab yang pedih.

جو لوگ صدقات میں فراخدلی سے حصّہ لینے والے مومنین اور ان غریبوں پر جن کے پاس ان کی محنت کے علاوہ کچھ نہیں ہے الزام لگاتے ہیں اور پھر ان کا مذاق اڑاتے ہیں خدا ان کا بھی مذاق بنادے گا اور اس کے پاس بڑا دردناک عذاب ہے

সে সমস্ত লোক যারা ভৎর্সনা-বিদ্রূপ করে সেসব মুসলমানদের প্রতি যারা মন খুলে দান-খয়রাত করে এবং তাদের প্রতি যাদের কিছুই নেই শুধুমাত্র নিজের পরিশ্রমলব্দ বস্তু ছাড়া। অতঃপর তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করে। আল্লাহ তাদের প্রতি ঠাট্টা করেছেন এবং তাদের জন্য রয়েছে বেদনাদায়ক আযাব।
