That is from the news of the cities, which We relate to you; of them, some are [still] standing and some are [as] a harvest [mowed down].

These are from the accounts of the townships, which We recount to you. Of them, there are some that still stand, and some that have been mown down.

That is (something) of the tidings of the townships (which were destroyed of old). We relate it unto thee (Muhammad). Some of them are standing and some (already) reaped.

These are some of the stories of communities which We relate unto thee: of them some are standing, and some have been mown down (by the sickle of time).

That is of the tidings of the cities We relate to thee; some of them are standing and some stubble.

این از گزارش های شهرها [و اهل آنها] است که آن را بر تو حکایت می کنیم، برخی از آن [شهر] ها هنوز برجایند، و برخی درو شده بر باد رفته اند!

این، از خبرهای آن شهرهاست که آن را بر تو حکایت می‌کنیم. بعضی از آنها [هنوز] بر سرِ پا هستند و [بعضی‌] بر باد رفته‌اند.

Bu sana anlattıklarımız, kasabaların başından geçenlerdir. Onların bir kısmı hala duruyor, bir kısmı ise silinip gitmiştir.

Itu adalah sebahagian dan berita-berita negeri (yang telah dibinasakan) yang Kami ceritakan kepadamu (Muhammad); di antara negeri-negeri itu ada yang masih kedapatan bekas-bekasnya dan ada (pula) yang telah musnah.

یہ چند بستیوں کی خبریں ہیں جو ہم آپ سے بیان کررہے ہیں -ان میں سے بعض باقی رہ گئی ہیں اور بعض کٹ پٹ کر برابر ہو گئی ہیں

এ হচ্ছে কয়েকটি জনপদের সামান্য ইতিবৃত্ত, যা আমি আপনাকে শোনাচ্ছি। তন্মধ্যে কোন কোনটি এখনও বর্তমান আছে আর কোন কোনটির শিকড় কেটে দেয়া হয়েছে।
