Those cities - We relate to you, [O Muhammad], some of their news. And certainly did their messengers come to them with clear proofs, but they were not to believe in that which they had denied before. Thus does Allah seal over the hearts of the disbelievers.

These are the towns some of whose accounts We recount to you. Their apostles certainly brought them manifest proofs, but they were not the ones to believe in what they had denied earlier. Thus does Allah put a seal on the hearts of the faithless.

Such were the townships. We relate some tidings of them unto thee (Muhammad). Their messengers verily came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they could not believe because they had before denied. Thus doth Allah print upon the hearts of disbelievers (that they hear not).

Such were the towns whose story We (thus) relate unto thee: There came indeed to them their messengers with clear (signs): But they would not believe what they had rejected before. Thus doth Allah seal up the hearts of those who reject faith.

Those cities We relate to thee tidings of; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they were not the ones to believe in that they had cried lies before; so God seals the hearts of the unbelievers.

این شهرهاست که بخشی از داستان هایش را برای تو بیان می کنیم، و یقیناً پیامبرانشان برای آنان دلایل روشن آوردند، ولی آنان بر آن نبودند که به حقایقی که پیش از آمدن آن دلایل تکذیب کرده بودند ایمان بیاورند؛ این گونه خدا بر دل های کافران [به سزای لجاجت وعنادشان] مُهر می زند.

این شهرهاست که برخی از خبرهای آن را بر تو حکایت می‌کنیم. در حقیقت، پیامبرانشان دلایل روشن برایشان آوردند. اما آنان به آنچه قبلاً تکذیب کرده بودند [باز] ایمان نمی‌آوردند. این گونه خدا بر دلهای کافران مُهر می‌نهد.

İşte o kentlerin haberlerini sana anlatıyoruz. And olsun ki onlara peygamberler belgeler getirdi; önceleri yalanladıklarından ötürü inanamadılar. Allah kafirlerin kalblerini böylece kapatıp mühürler.

Negeri-negeri (yang telah Kami binasakan) itu, Kami ceritakan sebagian dari berita-beritanya kepadamu. Dan sungguh telah datang kepada mereka rasul-rasul mereka dengan membawa bukti-bukti yang nyata, maka mereka (juga) tidak beriman kepada apa yang dahulunya mereka telah mendustakannya. Demikianlah Allah mengunci mata hati orang-orang kafir.

یہ وہ بستیاں ہیں جن کی خبریں ہم آپ سے بیان کررہے ہیں کہ ہمارے پیغمبران کے پاس معجزات لے کر آئے مگر پہلے سے تکذیب کرنے کی بنا پر یہ ایمان نہ لاسکے .ہم اسی طرح کافروں کے دلوں پر مہر لگادیا کرتے ہیں

এগুলো হল সে সব জনপদ যার কিছু বিবরণ আমি আপনাকে অবহিত করছি। আর নিশ্চিতই ওদের কাছে পৌছেছিলেন রসূল নিদর্শন সহকারে। অতঃপর কস্মিনকালও এরা ঈমান আনবার ছিল না, তারপরে যা তার ইতিপূর্বে মিথ্যা বলে প্রতিপন্ন করেছে। এভাবেই আল্লাহ কাফেরদের অন্তরে মোহর এঁটে দেন।
