So the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion. And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars."

But the elite of the faithless from among his people said, ‘We do not see you to be anything but a human being like ourselves, and we do not see anyone following you except those who are simpleminded riffraff from our midst. Nor do we see that you have any merit over us. Indeed, we consider you to be liars.’

The chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said: We see thee but a mortal like us, and we see not that any follow thee save the most abject among us, without reflection. We behold in you no merit above us - nay, we deem you liars.

But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) thee nothing but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow thee but the meanest among us, in judgment immature: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we think ye are liars!"

Said the Council of the unbelievers of his people, 'We see thee not other than a mortal like ourselves, and we see no? any following thee but the vilest of us, inconsiderately. We do not see you have over us any superiority; no, rather we think you are liars.'

اشراف و سران کافر قومش گفتند: ما تو را جز بشری مانند خود نمی بینیم، و کسی را جز فرومایگان که نسنجیده و بدون اندیشه از تو پیروی کرده باشند مشاهده نمی کنیم، و برای شما هیچ برتری و فضیلتی بر خود نمی بینیم، بلکه شما را دروغگو می پنداریم.

پس، سران قومش که کافر بودند، گفتند: «ما تو را جز بشری مثل خود نمی‌بینیم، و جز [جماعتی از] فرومایگانِ ما، آن هم نسنجیده، نمی‌بینیم کسی تو را پیروی کرده باشد، و شما را بر ما امتیازی نیست، بلکه شما را دروغگو می‌دانیم.»

Milletinin inkarcı ileri gelenleri: "Senin ancak kendimiz gibi bir insan olduğunu görüyoruz. Daha başlangıçta, sana bizim ayak takımı dışında kimsenin uyduğunu görmüyoruz. Sizin bizden bir üstünlüğünüz yoktur; biz sizi yalancı sanıyoruz" dediler.

Maka berkatalah pemimpin-pemimpin yang kafir dari kaumnya: "Kami tidak melihat kamu, melainkan (sebagai) seorang manusia (biasa) seperti kami, dan kami tidak melihat orang-orang yang mengikuti kamu, melainkan orang-orang yang hina dina di antara kami yang lekas percaya saja, dan kami tidak melihat kamu memiliki sesuatu kelebihan apapun atas kami, bahkan kami yakin bahwa kamu adalah orang-orang yang dusta".

تو ان کی قوم کے بڑے لوگ جنہوں نے کفر اختیار کرلیا تھا -انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم تو تم کو اپنا ہی جیسا ایک انسان سمجھ رہے ہیں اور تمہارے اتباع کرنے والوں کو دیکھتے ہیں کہ وہ ہمارے پست طبقہ کے سادہ لوح افراد ہیں. ہم تم میں اپنے اوپر کوئی فضیلت نہیں دیکھتے ہیں بلکہ تمہیں جھوٹا خیال کرتے ہیں

তখন তাঁর কওমের কাফের প্রধানরা বলল আমরা তো আপনাকে আমাদের মত একজন মানুষ ব্যতীত আর কিছু মনে করি না; আর আমাদের মধ্যে যারা ইতর ও স্থুল-বুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন তারা ব্যতীত কাউকে তো আপনার আনুগত্য করতে দেখি না এবং আমাদের উপর আপনাদের কেন প্রাধান্য দেখি না, বরং আপনারা সবাই মিথ্যাবাদী বলে আমারা মনে করি।
